Marking of the trail (english):<br />
The trails are marked with signs, coloured ribbon and/or dolomite.<br />
All markings are placed to the rigth in riding direction.<br />
Strategi for marking with dolomite:<br />
? One point = straight ahead<br />
? 3 points = turn followed by one point<br />
In the Deer Park the trail will have people on the critical points as marking is<br />
llimited.<br />
Strategi of marking with signs:<br />
? RED = turn to the right<br />
? WHITE = turn to the left<br />
? YELLOW = straight ahead<br />
Coloured ribbons can be put on the signs, if multiple possibilities.<br />
Distancemarkings for every 10 kilometers (except in the Deer Park).<br />
In the Deer Park there will be live posts and the trail will follow the horseshoe<br />
marking on the trees.<br />
Road control:<br />
Some of the roads with heavy traffic is controled by The Home Guards.<br />
The riders shall obey their orders.<br />
Every asphalt road shall be crossed in walking pace.<br />
Rules for riding in the wood:<br />
The forest are public and it is tourist and summertime, so you have to<br />
be aware of other riders and people. The trail will mostly follow riding<br />
paths, otherwise it will be marked. The riding paths are mostly black<br />
paths, which are only for horses. In many of the forests the trail will<br />
follow the horseshoe markig on the trees.<br />
When the trail follows path’s, which are for people also, it is only allowed to<br />
ride in the right side as close to the forest as possible.<br />
Not two riders side-by-side.<br />
The riders should stop for private persons in the wood.<br />
When riding on the road, the general trafic rules have to be followed.<br />
Going by car (helpers and trail-investigating)<br />
It is not allowed to go by car in the forest. You have to visit the forest<br />
by foot or bicycles.
