Konkrete aktiviteter:<br />

1) Life Cycle Assessment of eco-efficient manure management technologies.<br />

System models for the essential and most advanced technologies for manure management will be established<br />

within the frame of the Life Cycle Assessment concept and integrated with the best scientific knowledge of<br />

substance flows in agriculture. A high quality database will be established allowing for future adjustment of<br />

models at new technological developments.<br />

Comparisons between technologies will be done in the system perspective with the aim of supporting decisions<br />

for further research & development as well as wider implementation of solutions for manure management in<br />

agriculture.<br />

2) Remediation of phosphorus from animal slurry (important source of fertiliser)<br />

The intention of the study is to link incineration technology with remediation of P. The study is ongoing and<br />

the results presented are only giving an indication of the direction of the research carried out in the study. The<br />

study will be concluded within 3 years.<br />
