Myrtle is an ancient essential oil with properties similar to
Frankincense oil. It was mentioned several times in the bible
under its Hebrew name, Hadassah. Ancient Greeks valued
Myrtle oil because of its varied medicinal purposes.

BENEFITS
Myrtle oil helps promote normal respiratory system function,
even in children who are sensitive to many other oils; in
fact, it shares many aromatic properties with Eucalyptus
Radiata and Eucalyptus Globulus oils. Myrtle oil is also used
to alleviate minor skin irritations. Mentally, it helps release
feelings of anger or inner conflict, replacing them instead
with a sense of accomplishment and peace.
SUGGESTED USES
• Add 6 drops of Myrtle oil to 1 oz of Améo Fractionated Coconut Oil or cold cream and apply as needed to minor skin irritations
• Apply 1-2 drops of diluted Myrtle oil to the face to balance and revitalize skin and reduce excessive oil
• Diffuse Myrtle oil in an Améo diffuser to help promote normal respiratory function
• Mix 2 drops of Myrtle oil with 2 drops of Améo Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply to temples to relieve pressure
• Rub 1-2 drops of Myrtle oil into palms and inhale to help relax the mind and dismiss feelings of nervousness
