Entomology
The UUZM catalogue of type specimens is issued in four parts:
1. C.P.Thunberg (1743-1828), Insecta
2. General zoology
3. Entomology (this part)
4. Linnaean specimens
The groups 'Myriapoda' and Symphyla are included in part 2 of the catalogue although they
are generally referred to 'entomology'.
Naturally, the size of the type collection will increase in connection with new contributions
but also with the 'discovery' of disregarded old type specimens not yet transferred from the
general collections. Revised versions of the catalogue will successively be available.
