Como ha sido el caso desde 2004, EE.UU. y Alemania<br />
son el primer y segundo país respectivam<strong>en</strong>te medido por<br />
número de reuniones internacionales organizadas <strong>en</strong> 2009.<br />
EE.UU. está aum<strong>en</strong>tando la brecha con Alemania con 32<br />
ev<strong>en</strong>tos, comparado con los números de 2008. España se<br />
manti<strong>en</strong>e tercera. Italia salta del 6º al 4º con un aum<strong>en</strong>to<br />
de 54 ev<strong>en</strong>tos comparado con 2008, y el Reino Unido se<br />
manti<strong>en</strong>e 5º. China y Austria (que comparte el 10º lugar<br />
con Holanda) son nuevos <strong>en</strong> los primeros 10.<br />
Por cuarto año consecutivo, Vi<strong>en</strong>a es la ciudad más popular<br />
con un aum<strong>en</strong>to de 21 reuniones más que <strong>en</strong> 2008.<br />
Barcelona saltó del 3º al 2º lugar y Paris, que compartió el<br />
1º lugar con Vi<strong>en</strong>a el año anterior, está ahora 3º. El único<br />
nuevo <strong>en</strong>tre los 20 primeros es Madrid, <strong>en</strong> el lugar 13º.<br />
ICCA está ahora trabajando <strong>en</strong> los detalles detrás de estos<br />
resultados. El reporte estadístico total de ICCA para 2009<br />
será dado a conocer <strong>en</strong> poco tiempo. El reporte de 10 años<br />
de estadísticas cubri<strong>en</strong>do 2000-2009 será publicado a<br />
fines de Julio.<br />
El reporte de estadísticas de ICCA estará disponible online<br />
solam<strong>en</strong>te para miembros de ICCA. “El Mercado Internacional<br />
de Reuniones de Asociaciones 2009” será también <strong>en</strong>viado<br />
a 6.000 organizadores de reuniones de asociaciones<br />
<strong>en</strong> todo el mundo. ICCA ali<strong>en</strong>ta a las asociaciones a utilizar<br />
las estadísticas como una forma práctica para id<strong>en</strong>tificar<br />
nuevos pot<strong>en</strong>ciales destinos para sus ev<strong>en</strong>tos.<br />

meeting planners all over the world. ICCA<br />
<strong>en</strong>courages associations to use the statistics as a<br />
practical way to id<strong>en</strong>tify pot<strong>en</strong>tial new destinations<br />
