• Hyperemia (Doppler)<br />
Irregularities of the bony profile<br />
• Osteophytes: irregularities of the bony<br />
profile at the joint margins for new bone<br />
formation<br />
• Erosions: cortical <strong>de</strong>fect with an irregular<br />
floor (both in longitudinal & transverse scans)
