d) Complete the series with another word of the same semantic group -crowd, party, gathering, groupQUESTION 4a) Although the Government has a good reputation, it has not solved theproblem yet.b) He shouldn’t have gone to that party yesterday.c) It is not likely that she will pay for the drinks.d) How many beers did you drink last night?Option AQUESTION 5I am not against groups of teenagers getting together on the weekend inpublic places but I am against people drinking a lot. It is true that it isvery expensive for young people to meet up in bars as you have to payfor the drinks and depending on the place a cover charge to get in. Alot of young people do not have a lot of money to go out, so it is muchcheaper to meet in a public place. I don’t think there is a problem withyoung people meeting in public places if they respect themselves and thepeople around them.Option BThe Government could offer a place for young people to meet up, thatdoesn’t involve drinking alcohol. If the Government set up a place whereyoung people could meet to have a drink or something to eat and perhapsmusic, a lot of young people would go. Young people need to have a placewhere they can meet that doesn’t necessarily involve binge-drinking. If theGovernment organised a disco or social activities in a place that was cheapand didn’t involve alcohol, I’m sure a lot of young people would go.5
