Important Safety Instructions1. READ INSTRUCTIONSAll the safety and operating instructions should be read beforethe appliance is operated.2. RETAIN INSTRUCTIONSThe safety and operating instructions should be retained forfuture reference.3. HEED WARNINGSAll warning on the appliance and in the operating instructionsshould be adhered to.4. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONSAll operating and use instructions should be followed.5. WATER AND MOISTUREThe appliance should not be used near water – for example,near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wetbasement, or near a swimming pool, etc.6. CARTS AND STANDSThe appliance should be used only witha cart or stand that is recommended bythe manufacturer.6A. An appliance and cart combinationshould be moved with care. Quickstops, excessive force, and unevensurfaces may cause the appliance andcart combination to overturn.7. WALL OR CEILING MOUNTINGThis equipment is not designed for use mounted on a wall or aceiling.8. VENTILATIONThe appliance should be situated so that its location orposition does not interfere with its proper ventilation. Forexample, the appliance should not be situated on a bed, sofa,rug, or similar surface that may block the ventilation openings,or places in a built-in installation, such as bookcase or cabinetthat may impede the flow of air through the ventilationopenings.At least 30 cm free space around the unit for normalventilation is required.9. HEATDo not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heatregisters, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) thatproduce heat.10. CLEANINGThe appliance should be cleaned only with dry cloth.11. POWER SOURCESThe appliance should be connected to a power supply only ofthe type described in the operating instructions or as markedon the appliance.12. POWER CORD PROTECTIONPower-supply cord should be routed so that they are not likelyto be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or againstthem, playing particular attention to cords at plugs,convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit fromthe appliance.13. POLARIZED PLUGDo not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or groundingtypeplug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider thanthe other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a thirdgrounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are providedfor your safety. When the provided plug does not fit into youroutlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsoleteoutlet.14. UNPLUG POWER CORDUnplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unusedfor long periods of time.15. OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRYNo object filled with liquids, such as vases, etc. shall be placedon the apparatus.16. ACCESSORIESOnly use attachments/accessories specified by themanufacturer.17. SERVICINGThe user should not attempt to service the appliance beyondthat described in the operating instructions. All other servicingshould be referred to qualified service personnel.18. DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICEThe appliance should be serviced by qualified servicepersonnel when:a) The power-supply cord or the plug has been damaged; orb) Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled into theappliance; orc) The appliance has been exposed to rain; ord) The appliance does not appear to operate normally orexhibits a marked change in performance; ore) The appliance has been dropped, or the enclosure isdamaged.
