<strong>OCM</strong> DE CEREALES, OLEAGINOSAS Y PROTEAGINOSASSITUACIÓN DEL SECTORY LEGISLACIÓN1.- SITUACIÓN DEL SECTOR.1.1.- SECTOR PRODUCTIVO DEL CEREAL.- En el mundo.El sector <strong>de</strong> los cereales en el mundo se estima que para la campaña 2.006-2007producirá 678,7 millones <strong>de</strong> toneladas, <strong>de</strong> los cuales se consumirán 654,4 millones <strong>de</strong>toneladas, este consumo se repartirá en un 69 % para el consumo animal y en un 31 % parael consumo humano.Tabla 1. Esto se <strong>de</strong>be a que los tipos <strong>de</strong> cereal que producen no es suficiente para suconsumo interno.Destacar que tanto Argentina, como Australia presentan una importación CERO, ya quea diferencia <strong>de</strong> la UE-25 y EEUU, presentan un mayor equilibrio con el tipo <strong>de</strong> cereal queproducen y el que consumen.Se observa que el mayor exportador es EEUU con aproximadamente un 63 % <strong>de</strong> los96,4 millones <strong>de</strong> toneladas que se exportan. Le sigue Argentina y la Ex-URSS con un 13%y 10 % respectivamente.En general, el consumo animal esta por encima <strong>de</strong>l humano.- En la Unión Europea.En la UE en el año 2.007 han entrado dos nuevos países, Rumania y Bulgaria. Este hecho, representa que Europa hasta esta campaña no necesitaba <strong>de</strong> lasimportaciones, siendo la UE principalmente exportadora (como confirman las líneas <strong>de</strong>importaciones y exportaciones).Si volvemos a la Tabla 1, po<strong>de</strong>mos constatar lo anteriormente dicho, ya que aquí seve que la UE-25 exporta 3,7 millones <strong>de</strong> toneladas e importa 4,3 millones <strong>de</strong> toneladas.<strong>La</strong>s líneas que representan las importaciones y las exportaciones permanecenconstantes en el tiempo, hasta que en la campaña 2003-2004, el <strong>de</strong>scenso <strong>de</strong> la producciónANDRÉS RUIZ DOMINGUEZETSI AGRONOMOS –ALBACETE-3
