Dr Phuntsog Wangmo received her advanced
degree from the Lhasa University School of
Traditional Medicine in 1988. In 2007 she cofounded
the American Tibetan Medical
Association. Sinces 2012, Menpa Phuntsog
Wangmo is the director of the Shang Shung
Institute School of Tibetan Medicine. She
organized and instructed the four-year Menpa
training program, which was the first fulllength,
traditional Tibetan Medicine training
program offered in the Western World.
