Pocket Pointer 4/07 - FC Inter

Our next home game is against FC Viikingit.
We played them in the League Cup and
won 4-1 but that result is of no good on
Thursday. The Viikingit team is a hard
fighting team and their midfielders are
technically quite skillful. The players of
the team are good friends with each other
so the team spirit is one of their advantages.
It is sometimes easier to play as a team who
was just promoted because there is less
pressure from outside the team. Only a few
people expect a new team to win medals.
Viikingit has got some fairly good results
in the first few games and we expect to
meet a fiercely fighting team trying to win
every ball.
The game is also very important for us
because we have just played two very difficult
games against Honka and Tampere
United. In the second half of the Honka
game we played quite good. The playing
was simpler and we did not lose the ball so
often.
There is still a lot of room for improvement
but I hope that we keep on working hard
on Thursday when we play against FC Viikingit.
