Usage<br />
Keep the instructions for use in a safe place where they can be easily found.<br />
The backpack spraying <strong>de</strong>vice <strong>REKORD</strong> <strong>3533S</strong> is <strong>de</strong>signed for the spraying of plant<br />
protection products, including weed killers in the stipulated concentrations, as well as cleaning<br />
agents, disinfectants and construction chemicals. The manufacturer of the spraying agents has<br />
to approve that they can be applied with sprayers. Nitric acid, acetic acid and propionic acid<br />
must only be used in a concentration of up to 10 %, phosphoric acid and sulphuric acid in a<br />
concentration of up to 30 %, and potassium hydroxi<strong>de</strong> solution and caustic soda in a<br />
concentration of up to 20 %.<br />
Observe the manufacturer’s instructions for using the product before each application. The<br />
backpack spraying <strong>de</strong>vice may be used outdoors only.<br />
As of the time of manufacture, there are no known harmful effects to the <strong>de</strong>vice caused by<br />
plant protection products approved by the German Fe<strong>de</strong>ral Biological Institute (the<br />
Biologische Bun<strong>de</strong>sanstalt or BBA in German).<br />
Improper use may result in dangerous injuries and environmental damage.<br />
You should only use other products if harmful effects on the <strong>de</strong>vice and endangerment of<br />
people and the environment can be exclu<strong>de</strong>d. Upon request, we will provi<strong>de</strong> you with a list<br />
of active ingredients used in the sprayer.<br />
Not suitable for<br />
• Combustible liquids with a flashing point below 55 °C (131 °F)<br />
• Acids and lyes (for exceptions please see above)<br />
• Liquids at temperatures above 40 °C (104 °F)<br />
• solvents and liquids containing solvents<br />
• Viscous or sticky liquids or liquids that form residues (dyes, greases)<br />
• Use in applications for foodstuffs.<br />
Un<strong>de</strong>r no circumstances should you use<br />
• for flaming<br />
• for storing and holding liquids.<br />
Safety<br />
Children and adolescents who have not been properly instructed must not use the<br />
<strong>de</strong>vice.<br />
Keep the spraying <strong>de</strong>vices safe from access to children.<br />
Take precautions to prevent hazardous substances from being misused.<br />
