NOS PIONNIÈRES…<br />
Traditionnel<strong>le</strong>ment, <strong>le</strong>s fanfares<br />
étaient formées seu<strong>le</strong>ment<br />
d’hommes « majeurs ».<br />
Selon <strong>le</strong>s rumeurs, autour<br />
<strong>de</strong>s années 60, l’Union musica<strong>le</strong><br />
<strong>de</strong> P<strong>le</strong>ssisvil<strong>le</strong> fait presque scanda<strong>le</strong><br />
en intégrant, pour <strong>la</strong> première fois<br />
dans l’histoire <strong>du</strong> Québec,<br />
<strong>de</strong>s femmes dans <strong>le</strong>urs rangs.<br />
À partir <strong>de</strong> ce moment,<br />
on remarque que <strong>le</strong>s premières<br />
fil<strong>le</strong>s qui font <strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong>man<strong>de</strong>s<br />
pour jouer dans <strong>le</strong>s harmonies<br />
sont <strong>le</strong>s fil<strong>le</strong>s <strong>de</strong>s prési<strong>de</strong>nts,<br />
<strong>le</strong>s fil<strong>le</strong>s <strong>de</strong>s tambours majors<br />
ou <strong>le</strong>s fil<strong>le</strong>s <strong>de</strong>s membres <strong>du</strong><br />
Conseil d’administration.<br />
Voilà pourquoi il est extrêmement<br />
diffici<strong>le</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>le</strong>s refuser.<br />
Au 21 e sièc<strong>le</strong>, <strong>le</strong>s musiciennes<br />
composent <strong>75</strong>% <strong>de</strong> nos<br />
harmonies.<br />
