• <strong>Co</strong>nnect the parallel battery lead, Order No. 3061,<br />
to the speed controller. Place the batteries in the<br />
model, connect them to the parallel lead and<br />
check the working systems. The batteries must be<br />
fixed securely, so that they cannot slip out of<br />
position when the boat is running. It is a good idea<br />
to attach a piece of Velcro tape to each of the<br />
batteries and the deck; this will prevent them<br />
shifting.<br />
• Replace the hatch cover and the superstructure<br />
on the model and carefully connect the funnel<br />
rigging again. NOTE: take care not to trap the<br />
rigging under the superstructure (see photo). TIP:<br />
it is easiest to fit the rigging using a pair of<br />
tweezers.<br />
• Suspend the ship’s boats in the davits, as shown<br />
in the photos. TIP: once the boats are in place,<br />
squeeze the hooks together gently so that they<br />
cannot fall off when the boat is running.<br />
