Exposition“Mickael & Konjit”Mickael Bethe Selassié vit et travaille àParis depuis 1974. L’artiste est connupour ses sculptures et reliefs en papiermâchéet ses tableaux en acrylique avecdes couleurs flamboyantes. Ses œuvresfont partie des collections des muséesinternationaux. La première expositionde Mickael en Ethiopie a été organiséepar L’Alliance Ethio-Française en 1993. En2006 et 2007, l’artiste a été invité par l’AEFà animer deux ateliers a Addis-Abeba.Konjit Seyoum est la fondatrice d’Asni Gallery, créée en 1996. Elleest commissaire d’art mais aussi artiste. Konjit est connue pour sesinstallations. En 2005, l’Alliance avait organisé une exposition individuellede Konjit intitulée NO Comment. ..18Mickael Bethe Selassie has been living and workingin Paris since 1974. Mickael is known for his vividpapier-maché sculptures, reliefs and acrylicpaintings. His works can be found in the collectionsof major museums around the world. Mickael hashad his first solo show in Ethiopia in 1993 organizedby the Alliance Ethio-Francaise. In 2006 and 2007 healso conducted two workshops under the auspicesof Alliance.Konjit Seyoum who founded Asni Gallery in 1996 is a curator and an artist.Konjit is known for her installation works. She has had a solo show entitledNo Comment at the Alliance in 2005.
