6. CONCLUSIONConsidérant les cadres législatifs, réglementaires et normatifs en vigueur ainsi que les valeurs sociales auregard de la prévention des infections, il appert que le code vestimentaire au bloc opératoire doit assurer laprotection des employés contre les risques de transmission des pathogènes par l’air et par le contact. Il doitégalement assurer la protection des patients contre les risques d’infection au champ opératoire. Ainsi, toutemesure ou ligne directrice visant à prévenir les infections doit être préconisée et ce, même si l’état actuel desconnaissances ne permet pas d’établir avec certitude un lien entre les éléments de la tenue vestimentaire et lesinfections au champ opératoire.7.
