A. Description of function
The vehicle is equipped with a system that facilitates reverse parking manoeuvres by
detecting obstacles that could damage the vehicle. When reverse gear is engaged, an
audible beep signals that the Toyota Parking Aid is active. The detected obstacle will be
indicated by an intermittent beep, increasing in frequency until it becomes a continuous
tone as the vehicle moves closer to the obstacle.
CAUTION
The distances mentioned are
only a guide, the shape of each
detection zone can vary from
vehicle to vehicle.
±30 cm ±120 cm ±200 cm
INFORMATION
Please contact your dealer for
more details about the detection
zone of your vehicle.
CAUTION
The detection zone is always taken from the rear end of the bumper, regardless a
towing hitch or spare wheel cover is installed. If applicable, please take the size of
the spare wheel cover and towing hitch into account.
