AFTER USE<br />

Place the thermostat in the mini position .<br />

Unplug the electrical cord from the wall socket.<br />

Leave the appliance open to allow it to cool.<br />

Do not pour very cold water into the waffle maker when it is hot.<br />

Clean the body of the appliance using a sponge and washing-up liquid.<br />

To clean the waffle plates:<br />

- once the appliance is cold, brush with a non metal brush to remove any crumbs.<br />

- rinse the plates with a damp sponge, then wipe with a soft cloth.<br />

- wash the excess batter tray under water with a sponge and washing-up liquid.<br />

This appliance is not dishwasher safe.<br />

Do not use a scouring pad or scouring powder.<br />

Do not immerse the appliance in water.<br />

Never immerse the appliance or electrical cord in water.<br />

STORING<br />

The appliance can be stored vertically to save space.<br />

Use the locks to store the waffle maker in a vertical position - 10 or when moving the waffle maker.<br />

Close the appliance and lock it shut with the closing clip.<br />

Wind the electrical cord in the space designed for storage.<br />

RECIPE<br />

A superb recipe for thick and copious waffles.<br />

Thermostat setting 8<br />

Cooking time:<br />

approximately 3 min 30 to 4 min 30<br />

For approximately 12 waffles.<br />

Ingredients:<br />

- 300 g plain flour,<br />

- 10 g (2 teaspoons) baking powder,<br />

- pinch salt,<br />

- 75 g sugar,<br />

- 100 g melted butter,<br />

- 2 eggs,<br />

- 1/2 litre milk.<br />

• Combine the flour and baking powder in a bowl.<br />

• Make a well in the centre and add the salt, sugar, melted<br />

butter and eggs.<br />

• Gradually add the milk.<br />

• Let the mixture stand for 1 hour, then pour it into the waffle<br />

maker with the ladle - E: 4 ladles filled up to the line (5 mm<br />

from the edge) - 8.<br />

• Close the waffle maker and cook for the recommended time.<br />

Once the waffles are golden brown, put them on a plate and<br />

enjoy them sprinkled with icing sugar.<br />

Waffles are perfect with melted chocolate, whipped cream, jam, a<br />

bowl of ice cream or strawberries – the choice is yours.<br />
