Musée sur trois niveaux. Le rez-de-chaussée est marqué par son bardage en biais fait de lames<br />
de bois fines et très serrées, qui rappel les fanons d’une baleine, d’où le nom du bâtiment.<br />
L’étage, sorte de boîte de couleur fonçée, semble flottter au-dessus. Privée de fenêtre latérale,<br />
des puits de lumières permettent l’apport nécessaire de lumière dans cette boîte. Lumière qui est<br />
indirect, pour protéger les oeuvres.
