Dear passengers
"July-August".
For many of you, it is the period of departure for the summer holidays, which is July and August.
For school children and students in Madagascar, this is the final stretch before the exams in
September.
In an airline's calendar, this major meeting with travellers is commonly referred to as the high
summer season.
As every year, it is an intense period of activity, especially for this 2019 season, Air
Madagascar has put in place up to 8 flights per week between Madagascar and France, including a
dedicated weekly flight between Marseille and Antananarivo. Tsaradia, our domestic subsidiary, is
not to be outdone, with a significant increase in its flights to major destinations within the island.
With this extended flight programme, we are happy to take you on a journey to discover the
treasures of our Big Island, to accompany your reunion with your loved ones - Madagascar or
elsewhere in the world - or to broaden your travel horizons, to Johannesburg, for example, which
Air Madagascar has been serving again since 17th June.
And by leafing through the pages of your in-flight magazine, you will undoubtedly find a multitude
of ideas to write your own definition of this time of year.
I wish you a very pleasant flight!
