The façade responds to the needs of the interior where each part
of the house has a different type of window. As this is a recurring
pattern, we have two distinct parts to the façade.
The most opaque part is a drained façade with an air chamber,
where the inner sheet has a sandwich structure made up of wooden
panels, thermal insulation and a thin layer of cement. The outer
blade is made of vertical corrugated sheet metal.
The houses have a gallery space which can be used in different ways
and acts as an important thermal component, being a source of heat
in the winter and letting the air in during summer. If the house has
more than one bedroom, this space appears in other side of the
façade.
This part of the façade has large glass windows with aluminum carpentry,
fixed at the bottom and sliding at the top, to allow great ventilation
in summer.
