Oishee resumes

shooting for 'Noor'

Actress Jannatul Ferdous Oishee has started shooting for her

upcoming romantic film 'Noor'. Directed by Raihan Rafi, the

film marks her third straight collaboration with actor Arifin

Shuvoo. Confirming the news to The Bangladesh Today on

Sunday, Oishee said that they resumed the shooting of the film in

Pabna on Sunday and will stay there for around 20

days for the first schedule of the shooting.

The actress was recently paired up for the flim

'Noor' after Shuvoo signed for the film nearly a

year ago. Apart from appearing as the lead cast,

Shuvoo is also playing his role as the executive

producer of 'Noor'. Regarding teaming up

again with Arifin Shuvoo, with whom she

earlier co-starred in the much-anticipated

film 'Mission Extreme', Oishee said, "As

always, he is very supportive, very energetic.

I always say that he has extended his support to

such a level that I couldn't have asked for a better

co-artiste in my debut film. He helped me like a

mentor. He has been guiding me and helping me

the same way until now."

Oishee declined to reveal anything about her

character and plot of 'Noor' for now and hinted that

she and Shuvoo would appear in never-seen-before

roles in the film. "I can only say that actor Shuvoo and

I are coming out in play such roles that no one ever saw

us this way," she said.

For Oishee, this shooting schedule marks her first trip

to Pabna. The team reached the north-eastern district on

Friday and spent a day preparing them before opening

the shoots. "It feels very good. The shooting has started

on Sunday. Everything is going fine. After arriving here,

we have visited the locations, held a team meeting and

planned the scenes," she said.

The makers of 'Noor' announced the film earlier in

April after bringing Shuvoo onboard and marking

his first project with director Raihan Rafi. Produced

by Shapla Media, the film also faced delay to go on

floors due to existing Covid-19 risks.

Meanwhile, a first-look poster of 'Noor' was released

following Shuvoo's inclusion in the film.

Miss World Bangladesh 2018 titleholder Jannatul

Ferdous Oishee made her debut with the action-thriller

'Mission Extreme' co-starring Arifin Shuvoo and Taskeen

Rahman in lead roles. Directed jointly by Sunny Sanwar

and Faisal Ahmed, the film was scheduled to release last

age. The artist later passed a

master's degree in classical

music, including an honors

course in Nazrul music from the

Dhaka Government Music

College. In 2017, he started his

journey as a music director in

the media with the introduction

of a mixed album released in a

single composition by Real

Ashik.So far, more than 250

Bhumi Pednekar

feels shy of calling

herself a 'star'

On her debut in 2015, Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar

took critics by surprise, and won awards, by playing an

overweight bride who speaks up for her rights in the romantic

comedy 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha'. Since then, Bhumi Pednekar

has given a string of hits with meaningful cinema. But she has

recently revealed that she's shy to call herself a star, reports

Times of India.

She was seen in 'Toilet: EkPrem Katha', 'Shubh Mangal

Savdhaan', 'Saand Ki Aankh', 'Bala', 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' and

'Dolly Kitty Aur Who Chamakte Sitare', and many more such

critically acclaimed films.

But is Bhumi comfortable with the 'star tag? In an

interview with media, the actress, who started out as an

assistant to Shanoo Sharma, made the confession: "I am a

little shy to call myself a star."

She insists she is an actor who has received a lot of love.

Bhumi said: "I think the definition of stardom has changed

across different generations. But yes, I am grateful that my

films are appreciated and people love me and I am going to

continue doing whatever I do on and off screen."

There's a lot happening in the Disney

Universe as we speak. Several films

hitting the shores, the MCU flourishing

in its illustrious phase 4, and of course,

there is this battle between Scarlett

Johansson and the 'House Of Mouse'.

The studio was about to work with the

'Black Widow' star outside the Marvel

Cinematic Universe, and had signed

her for 'Tower Of Terror'. And while no

one needs to confirm that the chances

of that happening are less seems like

they have found a replacement in Brie

Larson. If you are unaware, Scarlett

Johansson recently sued Disney over

the release format of her standalone

Natasha Romanoff spin-off Black

Widow. The actor as per her plea was

promised an exclusive theatrical

release, but the movie hit Disney Plus

simultaneously with the big-screen

release. As per ScaJo, this has caused a

Ne. When asked, Real Ashique

said, "Song is my dream, song is

my pursuit, I find my peace

through song."I will sing as long

as I live. I sought love and

blessings from everyone.

Scarlett to be replaced by Brie

in Disney's 'Tower Of Terror'?

lot of monetary loss and also breach of

the contract.

If the latest reports are now to go by,

the studio is still fighting with

Johansson, but also rapidly looking out

for her replacement and probably

found one in Brie Larson.

Scarlett Johansson was roped in to

lead the Tower Of Terror in June this

year. She wasn't in a legal battle with

Disney then. When later next month

she decided to take the drastic step and

what followed, it was evident that

neither Disney nor Scarlett would want

to work with each other in the near

future. Now as per reports it seems like

the 'House Of Mouse' is still going

ahead with 'Tower of Terror',

contradictory to the news that said they

are shelving it.

Talking about her on-screen roles, the actress has always

picked the meaningful roles and offered some insights to the

topics that are often neglected or talked less about. Whether it

was the importance of having a toilet for women or about an

overweight girl trying to achieve her goals and find love. The

actress has always got it right.

Speaking about the same she says, "I feel that's how films in

the future would also be. If someone is spending two hours

watching a film, or my piece of content, it must lead to some

kind of a positive change in their mindset."

push you around today, Aries. People

may talk themselves up, but there's

little behind the words. Be careful that

you don't misfire. This is a day to care about you and

your needs. Take steps toward making sure you're

tired of your harsh attitude, Gemini.

This doesn't mean you should

necessarily change your ways or who

you are. Just be more aware of how your words

affect others. Be prepared to take the heat when

people defend themselves. Don't kick people around

and expect them to never kick back. There's a frenzy

intimidated by fast talkers.

and get moving, Capricorn. The fastpaced

energy of the day is just what you

need to get things done. You're ready to

you, so feel free to expand and explore this desire to

conquer. New adventures are on the horizon now

and you have a great opportunity to take advantage

of situations that resonate with your true self.

AQUARIUs

(Jan. 21 - Feb. 19) : It may seem like

everyone else has a purpose and

project except you, Aquarius. While

everyone is charging out of the gate,

you may still be unsure that this is the race you

want to run. Don't push yourself into something

you don't want to do. The energy of the day is fast

and adventurous, but if you aren't feeling up for a

fight, don't force it.

PIscEs

(Feb. 20 - Mar. 20) : A surprising phone

call might come today from a close friend

or business or romantic partner, Pisces.

This person might have encountered an

unexpected upset and need to concentrate on getting it

together again. An offer to help might meet with scant

enthusiasm, as this person may prefer to take care of

things alone. The trick is to be supportive and not take

on the troubles as your own.
