Shabnur launches

YouTube channel

for her fans

TBT REPORT

Kazi Sharmin Nahid Nupur known by her stage

name Shabnur, is a Bangladeshi film actress.

This Dhallywood queen Shabnur currently

residing with her family in Sydney, Australia.

Recently she has opened an account on Facebook

and Instagram. To get the love of her fans this time

the heroine opened a YouTube channel as well.

On Tuesday night she posted a video on her

YouTube channel saying, 'Friends I want to stay

connected with you guys, want to be by your side

and get your love'.

In 1993, Shabnur debuted in silver screen with

co-actor Shabbir in the film titled 'Chandni Raatey',

directed by Ehtesham. In 1994, she got her

breakthrough in her second with co- actor Salman

Shah in the film titled 'Tumi Amar'. Shabnur coacted

with Salman until his death in 1996. She later

acted with Omar Sunny, Riaz, Ferdous Ahmed, and

Shakib Khan, among others.

In 2005, she won the National Film Award for

Best Actress for her performance in the movie titled

'Dui Nayaner Alo' directed by Mostafizur Rahman

Manik.

She was last seen in MM Sarkar's unfinished film

titled 'Pagol Manush'.

Jacqueline addresses trolling

'I am attacked for the way I

sound, criticism of my looks'

Actor Arjun Kapoor decided to quiz his Bhoot

Police co-star Jacqueline Fernandez on his

new chat show, 'Bak Bak With Baba'. The

two discussed her eating habits, her old

crushes, the trolling she receives and

how she manages to keep her head

straight. While parts of the segment

were filled with laughter, there

were some serious points when

Jacqueline mentioned how she

would starve herself in her

younger days.

Asked about her first

crush, she said,

"There was

somebody in school

but I can't name him.

I also had a huge

crush on Leonardo

DiCaprio after

watching Romeo

and Juliet and

Titanic, and

Ricardo from

Backstreet Boys."

Arjun asked her

about the

importance of food in

her life, but she said

that it wasn't so high up

on her priority list. Arjun

jokingly said, "Please

leave my van," and

Jacqueline said, "We can't be

friends, sorry!" She then

answered the question, "I

definitely love to celebrate

with food. For instance,

today was our wrap. I got

food for everybody. We cut a

cake with my team. I feel it's

nice that celebrate with food.

There was a phase in my 20's

when I did turn to food and

that was late at night. I lived

alone so it was like cake, ice

cream, anything crispy. I actually

did have a terrible relationship

with food and then I went like

starving for a week, which is

like really bad for you. So,

now it's about knowing that

I don't need to turn to it,

tomorrow is another day

and we will get through it."

Jacqueline Fernandez

revealed that she has

never been on a blind

date. When Arjun

asked whether she

had been on a date,

she laughed and said

no, as well. When

asked about the best

pick-up line that has

been used on her she

said, "It's a little weird

but maybe I'm a bit

unapproachable as well.

There are very few times I

am approached with bad pick-up

lines."

As celebrities can't avoid trolling,

she spoke about the 'meanest

things' she has read about

herself online "There are a

lot of mean things," to

which Arjun responded,

"Welcome to the king."

Jacqueline continued, "It's

ok, we all get it. I read things

about myself how terrible I

sound, how terrible my accent

is and how I speak Hindi, bad

criticism on how I look."

On how she deals with it, she

said, "I kind of take it like

positively. I am like ok what do

they mean. Then, I feel may be there

is some room for improvement.

There is some criticism where you feel

this person is being nasty. Some actually

makes sense to me."

For the first time ever, three

Bangladeshi films - Abdullah

Mohammad Saad's"Rehana

Maryam Noor". Mostofa Sarwar

Farooki's "No Land's Man", and

Mohammad Rabby Mridha's

"Paayer Tolay Mati Nai", have

been selected to be showcased at

the prestigious Busan

International Film Festival

(BIFF) 2021, reports UNB.

The selection of the film

"Paayer Tolay Mati Nai" (No

Ground Beneath The Feet) was

confirmed on Wednesday,

which will be screened on

October 7, 8, and 13 in the "A

Window on Asian Cinema"

section of the festival.

Scheduled to be run from

October 8 to 15, this year's

festival has enlisted these films

as part of its "A Window on

Asian Cinema" section, where

Farooki's upcoming movie "No

Land's Man", has been

nominated for the Kim Jiseok

Award.

"What stands out is the

selection of 3 films from

Bangladeshi cinema, which has

been considered until now to be

on the cinematic periphery," the

BIFF website highlighted

Bangladesh's history-making

participation at this year's

festival.

Produced by acclaimed

director-producer Abu Shahed

A special drama titled 'Behula

Parampara' has been made to

mark the upcoming Durga Puja

festival. Two popular small

There was a lot expected from

'Fast & Furious 9' but the film has

stayed to be just about ordinary

after its first week (lasting 8 days

due to Thursday release) at the

Indian box office. The film netted

just around 4 crores* more

during the weekdays and as a

result of its total so far stands at

12.50 crores*.

Now ideally, a film of this scale

and magnitude should have

collected this number on the

very first day in the prepandemic

times. However, the

current situation is different in

India due to theatres not

running at optimal capacity.

Moreover, one fact that cannot

be ignored is that 'Fast & Furious

9' is one of the weakest in the

franchise. The last two

Mir Mokarram Hossain is the

Starring Mostafa Monwar,

among others, "Paayer Tolay

Mati Nai" narrates the story of

an ordinary man named Saiful,

who has embraced his miseries

screen actors- Farhana Mili and

FS Nayeem will be seen playing

lead roles in the drama.

Shadhin Shah has written the

story of the drama while Borno

Nath has directed it. The

instalments had done very good

business in India, though cracks

were seen in 'Fast & Furious 8'.

Now even though the action is

bigger than ever before in 'F9',

the overall story is weak with

nothing much besides the

gravity-defying stunts.

Coming to the business aspect

of the film, 'Fast & Furious 9' will

reach the 20 crores milestone

but that's about. That would be a

very sub-optimal performance

for the film which was expected

to revive the theatrical business

in India. Disappointingly, that

hasn't quite happened and hence

the wait continues for a true

biggie to arrive and make a

smashing impact at the box

office.

ARIEs

(March 21 - April 20) : You'll be

happiest away from prying eyes

today, Aries. You're not in the mood

to be friendly or participate in idle

gossip. It seems you've been having the same

conversations with the same people for some time

now. You're feeling so bored you could scream. To

avoid doing just that, spend quiet time alone

today if you can.

TAURUs

(April 21 - May 21) : Just when you

thought things were settled, life takes

another turn. Today brings yet another

of those turns, so hold on, Taurus. You

may receive some information that has a dramatic

impact on your life. Perhaps you'll receive an

opportunity to move to another state or country.

Perhaps you'll decide to get married. One thing is

clear - your future looks promising!

GEMINI

(May 22 - June 21) : You should feel

optimistic today, Gemini, with

confidence in your ability to

accomplish anything you set your

mind to. If you're working toward a specific

goal (and you should be), something is likely

to happen today that propels you that much

closer to realizing your goal. What's the next

step?

cANcER

(June 22 - July 23) : You can expect

some big changes, Cancer. All the

hard work you've been doing to

develop your confidence is

showing, and this is attracting opportunities

like bees to honey. On top of this, your passion

is high right now, so set aside private time with

your mate. Plan a romantic evening, open a

bottle of wine, and celebrate!

LEO

(July 24 - Aug. 23): Don't overreact

today, Leo. Your biorhythms are low.

In fact, you may be feeling a bit under

the weather. There's no point in

trying to keep up a cheerful front. People will see

through your facade. You would be better served

by spending time on solo activities. That way you

can spend long stretches of time in bed, where

you're meant to be today.

VIRGO

(Aug. 24 - Sept. 23): A long-term

project reaches a positive

conclusion, one that may have a

dramatic impact on your finances.

You've sold your manuscript to a publisher or

successfully concluded a project that's dear to

your heart. This success should give you the

confidence you need, Virgo. Don't forget to take

time to celebrate!

LIBRA

(Sept. 24 - Oct. 23): Change is good, but

it can be scary when it comes

suddenly. That's what you feel today

when someone announces a major

change without warning. You're not sure how to

react to the news and haven't a clue how it affects

you. All you can do now is wait. Try not to panic. In

the end, you'll see that these changes will benefit

everyone, including you!

scORPIO

(Oct. 24 - Nov. 22) : You're eager for

information on a particular subject

and will go to great lengths to get it,

Scorpio. Before heading off to the

library, why not try an online search? You

might find everything you need without leaving

your chair. But your search might necessitate

going to the primary source, so travel will be

involved.

sAGITTARIUs

(Nov. 23 - Dec. 21): You may receive

a windfall from an unexpected

source, Sagittarius. Perhaps an

uncle died and remembered you in

his will or an old legal settlement has finally

come through. Whatever the source, the extra

income is welcome now. Your vivid dreams of

late may not seem related to this financial

upswing, but they're connected.

cAPRIcORN

(Dec. 22 - Jan. 20): You receive some

new insight about an important

person in your life, Capricorn, and

your relationship takes a dramatic

turn for the better. You feel you now know

this person completely, and your closeness

borders on the profound. This new alliance

could also have positive repercussions on

your finances.

AQUARIUs

(Jan. 21 - Feb. 19) : When the thought

of going to work makes it hard to get

out of bed, know that the time has

come to get another job, Aquarius.

Alas, that's probably not something you can do

now. You can be extra kind to yourself. Give

yourself a present. Find something you

thoroughly enjoy that would perk up your spirits

and cost little.

PIscEs

(Feb. 20 - Mar. 20) : Romance is in

the air and you must be breathing a

lot of it today, Pisces. Your blood is

boiling, your passion surging, and a

romantic dinner for two is in the cards. You'll

be inclined to shop for clothes, but curb your

appetite for material goods. What you really

want doesn't come in a box, so why waste your

money?
