ORdeR Payment<br />

Customers are required to pay for their orders<br />

prior to dispatch of goods. We accept Visa, MasterCard,<br />

American Express, BPAy, Bank Deposit, Cash<br />

(pick-ups only), Telegraphic Transfer, Letter of Credit,<br />

or Documentary Credit (bank draft).<br />

CRedit aCCOunts<br />

30-day credit accounts are available on request for<br />

customers holding a current Australian Business<br />

Registration Certificate and ABN, who have a prior<br />

ordering history of A$1000 (minimum) per month. Please<br />

contact our Accounts Department for an application<br />

form. Credit Account approval is at the discretion of<br />

the <strong>Co</strong>mpany. Credit terms may be withdrawn without<br />

notice at the discretion of the <strong>Co</strong>mpany.<br />

CheCk yOuR ORdeR<br />

Upon receipt of your goods, please check the contents<br />

of your delivery against the enclosed invoice. In the event<br />

an item is on back order, this will be stated on your<br />

invoice and you will not be charged* until the item is<br />

shipped. (*except in the case of prepaid online orders.)<br />

RetuRns/exChange/Refunds<br />

If you detect any discrepancy with goods supplied, it is a<br />

condition of return/exchange/refund that you report this<br />

discrepancy to our Customer Service Department on 02<br />

9565 2828 or sales@seoc.com.au within 5 working days<br />

of receipt of your order (postal time will be taken into<br />

account). Goods approved for return/exchange/refund<br />

should be packed carefully to avoid damage in transit<br />

and be accompanied by a copy of the invoice or invoice<br />

no. and a written statement detailing reason of return.<br />

COmPlianCe COnsideRatiOns when<br />

manufaCtuRing & maRketing “COsmetiC<br />

PROduCts” in austRalia<br />

If you are manufacturing or intending to manufacture<br />

and market cosmetic-type products in Australia we<br />

recommend that you familiarise yourself with Australian<br />

Government regulations that are applicable in this country.<br />

Following is a summary of information published on the<br />

internet. For further professional assistance we recommend<br />

contacting a Regulatory <strong>Co</strong>nsultant in your area.<br />

(1) PeRmissible ingRedients. There are mandatory<br />

requirements for permissible ingredients in products<br />

marketed as ‘cosmetics’. National Industrial Chemicals<br />

Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) provide<br />

information on all relevant regulations. Visit www.<br />

nicnas.gov.au to download the NICNAS COSMETICS<br />

GUIDELINES 2007. (Latest version 17 September 2007,<br />

Modified 2 December 2008 * ).<br />

(2) labelling RequiRements. There are mandatory<br />

labelling requirements for the labelling of cosmetic<br />

products manufactured in, or imported into, Australia.<br />

All suppliers – including manufacturers, importers,<br />

distributors and retailers – must comply with the<br />

mandatory information standard, which is enforced<br />

by the ACCC. Visit www.accc.gov.au to download the<br />

mandatory information standard for COSMETICS &<br />

TOILETRIES INGREDIENT LABELLING.<br />

(3) COsmetiC OR theRaPeutiC. There are mandatory<br />

regulations relating to marketing products as either<br />

“cosmetic” or “therapeutic”. The Therapeutic Goods<br />

Administration (TGA) regulates how these differences<br />

are determined. Visit www.tga.gov.au to download the<br />

COSMETIC CLAIMS GUIDELINES (Latest version 9 May<br />

1997 * ).<br />

(4) CeRtified ORganiC. If your cosmetic products<br />

incorporate the use of Certified Organic ingredients<br />

and you wish to make any label or marketing claims<br />

and/or use the ‘Bud’ logo, additional compliance to<br />

the Australia Organic Standard (AOS) is also a<br />

to download the latest version of the BFA ORGANIC<br />

STANDARD (Version 6*).<br />
