Non o<strong>di</strong>o nessuno invece, neppure <strong>Aminta</strong>. Lo amavo, quando voleva <strong>da</strong> me le cose che anch’io<br />
volevo ... Ora mi chiede ciò che non voglio, e per questo lo fuggo. Ma basta: o taci o parla d’altro,<br />
se vuoi. Io vado a caccia nel bosco <strong>di</strong> querce, poi, prima del pasto, mi godrò il piacere <strong>di</strong> un<br />
bagno nella sorgente. Tu vieni?<br />
DAFNE<br />
Va’ pure <strong>da</strong> sola, e buon <strong>di</strong>vertimento. (tra sé) Stupi<strong>da</strong>!<br />
Scena 2<br />
Silvia si allontana. Dafne si volge in <strong>di</strong>rezione opposta e vede Tirsi venirle incontro.<br />
TIRSI<br />
Dafne! Hai veduto Silvia? Le parlasti, come ti avevo pregata?<br />
DAFNE<br />
Sì, ma è tutto inutile. Non intende ragioni ed anzi si mostra aggressiva, come una serpe, nella cui<br />
tana un bimbo sciocco insista … a frugare.<br />
TIRSI<br />
Bisogna avere tatto, e un po’ <strong>di</strong> pazienza, con certe adolescenti ancora acerbe. Spero che tu non<br />
l’abbia offesa irrime<strong>di</strong>abilmente.<br />
DAFNE<br />
Io, offeso lei? Piuttosto, è il contrario!<br />
