Wear resistant heavy plate<br />

NICRODUR 400 is a wear resistant heavy plate with a hardness of 400 HBW. The unique<br />

combination of high hardness, high strength and good toughness makes the material well<br />

suited for a wide variety of applications in which it is exposed to heavy wear by hard minerals<br />

and other abrasive materials. NICRODUR 400 offers very good weldability, formability and<br />

machining properties.<br />

Applications<br />

Bulldozers, dumptrucks, industrial trucks, lorries, machine parts and tools for mineral extraction<br />

(mining), metal working tools – cutting edges, knives, gears, bearings, loaders, buckets, slurry<br />

pipe systems, etc.<br />

HEAVY PLATES OF HIGH YIELD STRENGTH IN THE QUENCHED AND TEMPERED CONDITION<br />

MICRAL 690 (W.Nr. 1.8928) is a general structural steel with a minimum yield strength of 690<br />

N/mm2 (MPa).<br />

Its chemical analysis and mechanical properties meets requirements according to EN 10025-<br />

6 (S 690 QL).<br />

Applications<br />

Load carrying structures where low weight and high yield strength are requested.<br />
