control<br />
When using the DSLR-A900, DSLR-A850, DSLR-A700, SLT-A99V, SLT-A77V,<br />
SLT-A65V, SLT-A57, SLT-A37, NEX-7, NEX-6, DSC-RX1 or DSC-RX1R, you<br />
can <strong>per</strong>form wireless flash photography while controlling the lighting ratio between<br />
a maximum of 3 groups including the controller and two groups of off-camera flash<br />
units.<br />
Controller: <strong>HVL</strong>-<strong>F43M</strong> (this unit)<br />
Off-camera flashes: <strong>HVL</strong>-F58AM, <strong>HVL</strong>-F60M, <strong>HVL</strong>-F43AM, <strong>HVL</strong>-<strong>F43M</strong>,<br />
<strong>HVL</strong>-F42AM<br />
These flash units can be set in 2 groups (RMT and RMT2).<br />

• Any combination of <strong>HVL</strong>-F58AM, <strong>HVL</strong>-F60M, <strong>HVL</strong>-F43AM, <strong>HVL</strong>-<strong>F43M</strong> and<br />
<strong>HVL</strong>-F42AM can be used in the [RMT] group. <strong>HVL</strong>-F58AM, <strong>HVL</strong>-F60M, <strong>HVL</strong>-<br />
F43AM or <strong>HVL</strong>-<strong>F43M</strong> set to [CTRL1] (CTRL+ on the LCD display) can be used in<br />
the [RMT2] group.<br />
• <strong>HVL</strong>-F42AM being used as an off-camera flash is recognized as the [RMT] group.<br />
When using the <strong>HVL</strong>-F42AM as an off-camera flash in 3-group wireless flash<br />
photography, use an <strong>HVL</strong>-F58AM, <strong>HVL</strong>-F60M, <strong>HVL</strong>-F43AM or <strong>HVL</strong>-<strong>F43M</strong> as the<br />
other off-camera flash which can be set to [RMT2].<br />
• When using the DSLR-A900, DSLR-A850, SLT-A99V, SLT-A77V, SLT-A65V,<br />
SLT-A57, SLT-A37, NEX-7, NEX-6, DSC-RX1 or DSC-RX1R, you can use an <strong>HVL</strong>-<br />
F56AM and/or <strong>HVL</strong>-F36AM as off-camera flashes. Set the wireless controller mode<br />
of the <strong>HVL</strong>-<strong>F43M</strong> to [CTRL2] ([CTRL] on the LCD display). In this mode, the <strong>HVL</strong>-<br />
F56AM and/or <strong>HVL</strong>-F36AM are in the [RMT] group, and you can control the lighting<br />
ratio of up to 2 groups using a <strong>HVL</strong>-F58AM, <strong>HVL</strong>-F60M, <strong>HVL</strong>-F43AM or <strong>HVL</strong>-<br />
<strong>F43M</strong> as a controller. For details on setting the controller mode, see [C03] in “Custom<br />
settings” (page 70).<br />
