<strong>Istruzioni</strong> <strong>per</strong> <strong>la</strong> <strong>sostituzione</strong><br />
Seguire scrupolosamente le istruzioni riportate in questo documento. La mancata esecuzione <strong>del</strong>le procedure indicate può<br />
causare danni alle apparecchiature e invalidare <strong>la</strong> garanzia <strong>del</strong> prodotto.<br />
La <strong>sostituzione</strong> <strong>del</strong><strong>la</strong> base <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> prevede cinque passaggi fondamentali :<br />
• Spegnere il computer e scollegare il cavo <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong>.<br />
• Capovolgere il <strong>monitor</strong> su un panno spesso.<br />
• Rimuovere <strong>la</strong> base <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong>.<br />
• Instal<strong>la</strong>re <strong>la</strong> base sostitutiva.<br />
• Rigirare il <strong>monitor</strong>, collegare il cavo e riavviare il computer.<br />

<strong>Apple</strong>Care<br />
Utensili necessari<br />
Due cacciavite da gioielliere con taglio piatto.<br />
Nota : In alternativa ai cacciavite da gioielliere, è possibile utilizzare due lunghi chiodi da falegname. La testa <strong>del</strong> chiodo, <strong>per</strong>ò,<br />
deve essere <strong>la</strong>rga almeno 6 mm <strong>per</strong> evitare che il chiodo scivoli all’interno <strong>del</strong> case.<br />
Attenzione : Non accendere mai il <strong>monitor</strong> se un utensile o dei componenti sono caduti al suo interno. Mettersi<br />
in contatto con <strong>Apple</strong> <strong>per</strong> ricevere ulteriore assistenza. Non accendere mai il <strong>monitor</strong> prima di aver completato<br />
l’instal<strong>la</strong>zione dei componenti interni ed esterni. L’utilizzo <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> a<strong>per</strong>to o con componenti mancanti può<br />
causare danni o infortuni.<br />
Rimozione <strong>del</strong><strong>la</strong> base <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong><br />
1. Attenzione : Spegnere il computer e scollegare il cavo <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> :<br />
• Scollegare il cavo <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> dal computer.<br />
• Attendere cinque minuti <strong>per</strong>ché i componenti interni <strong>del</strong> computer si raffreddino.<br />
2. ATTENZIONE : Il <strong>monitor</strong> pesa 20 kg. Prestare attenzione nel riposizionarlo.<br />
Utilizzare un panno pulito, spesso e morbido (ad esempio una co<strong>per</strong>ta o un asciugamano piegati) <strong>per</strong> fare da cuscino.<br />
Capovolgere il <strong>monitor</strong> sul panno in modo da tenere lo schermo sul <strong>la</strong>to opposto e avere <strong>la</strong> base <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> di fronte a sé.<br />

3. Far scorrere <strong>la</strong> base in direzione <strong>del</strong> cavo <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong>.<br />

4. Al centro <strong>del</strong><strong>la</strong> base <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong>, individuare i due fori circo<strong>la</strong>ri identici sul fermo <strong>del</strong><strong>la</strong> base stessa.<br />

5. Posizionare i due cacciavite a taglio piatto in ciascuno dei fori rotondi e fare leva <strong>del</strong>icatamente sul fermo <strong>per</strong> estrarlo dal<strong>la</strong><br />
base <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong>.<br />
Attenzione : Non accendere mai il <strong>monitor</strong> se un utensile o dei componenti sono caduti al suo interno.<br />
Mettersi in contatto con <strong>Apple</strong> <strong>per</strong> ricevere ulteriore assistenza. Non accendere mai il <strong>monitor</strong> prima di aver<br />
completato l’instal<strong>la</strong>zione dei componenti interni ed esterni. L’utilizzo <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> a<strong>per</strong>to o con componenti<br />
mancanti può causare danni o infortuni.<br />
6. Ruotare <strong>la</strong> base in senso orario (1/4 di giro) <strong>per</strong> posizionar<strong>la</strong> come illustrato in figura.<br />

7. Guardando nel centro <strong>del</strong><strong>la</strong> base, ruotar<strong>la</strong> leggermente fino a quando non si vedono le linguette di blocco allineate alle<br />
fessure nel<strong>la</strong> base.<br />

8. Con le linguette allineate, tirare <strong>del</strong>icatamente <strong>la</strong> base <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> verso di sé. Quindi sollevar<strong>la</strong>, inclinando<strong>la</strong> da un <strong>la</strong>to e<br />
dall’altro, ed estrar<strong>la</strong>.<br />

Posizionare gli anelli di p<strong>la</strong>stica<br />
Dopo aver rimosso <strong>la</strong> base <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong>, sul piano di sostegno dovranno rimanere due anelli di p<strong>la</strong>stica. Questi anelli sono<br />
appositamente orientati <strong>per</strong> <strong>per</strong>mettere il corretto inserimento <strong>del</strong><strong>la</strong> base sostitutiva. Tuttavia, se gli anelli sono fuori sede,<br />
riposizionarli come descritto qui di seguito.<br />
1. Posizionare l'anello di p<strong>la</strong>stica bianco sul<strong>la</strong> base in modo da poter leggere le parole “Serial Number” anche quando l'anello<br />
viene fatto scorrere fino in fondo verso il basso. Capovolgere l'anello se le parole non sono visibili.<br />

2. Posizionare l'anello di p<strong>la</strong>stica trasparente sopra l’anello bianco in modo che l’anello bianco si incastri nell'anello trasparente.<br />
3. Verificare che gli anelli siano allineati correttamente. Devono scorrere insieme senza incontrare resistenze; inoltre, quando<br />
sono accanto all'etichetta <strong>del</strong> numero di serie, il codice a barre <strong>del</strong> numero di serie deve risultare chiaramente visibile,<br />
mentre le parole “Serial Number” no.<br />

Instal<strong>la</strong>zione <strong>del</strong><strong>la</strong> base sostitutiva <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong><br />
1. Prendere <strong>la</strong> nuova base <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> e allineare le fessure al centro <strong>del</strong><strong>la</strong> base stessa con le linguette sul piano di sostegno.<br />

2. Inserire <strong>la</strong> base facendo<strong>la</strong> scorrere verso l'alto <strong>per</strong> bloccare le linguette di fissaggio.<br />
3. Girare <strong>la</strong> base <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> in senso antiorario.<br />
4. Allineare il fermo e premerlo verso il basso fino a quando non si fissa con un clic. Il fermo è sagomato <strong>per</strong> bloccarsi<br />
esclusivamente in un’unica posizione.<br />
5. Verificare che <strong>la</strong> base <strong>del</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> scorra senza incontrare resistenze.<br />
6. Capovolgere il <strong>monitor</strong> e ricollegarlo al computer.<br />
7. Riavviare il computer.<br />
