According to Tamkeen-Allen Group’s Gap Analysis report that showed<br />
increasing gap between Bahraini and non-Bahraini ICT professionals. As<br />
a result, projected demand for ICT jobs is increasing. The study<br />
concludes that<br />
“personnel with strong fundamental IT skills and knowledge will be<br />
able to adapt to new IT technologies more rapidly than personnel<br />
only possessing application-specific skills and knowledge. Indeed,<br />
new IT hardware and software applications are increasingly<br />
technical and complex, requiring highly skilled personnel for both<br />
operation and maintenance”.<br />

opportunities for computer scientists and IT professional are expected<br />

regionally and internationally.
