ZEC solutions for water handling
Continuous development of new urban centers and therefore their sewers, shipbuilding industry and food
industry brings with it the necessity of cleaning and maintenance, very often related also to hygiene and
health reasons.
This product range has been developed to meet the most demanding applications, even in terms of
performance. This is the reason why the development has occurred during the years, especially thanks to
the customers investing together with ZEC on field testing, enabling ZEC to validate the optimal product
range for the market.

• extreme lightness: ZEC thermoplastic hoses are 30% lighter than standard rubber hoses
• resistance to wear and cutting, thanks to antiabrasion covers
• resistance to hydrolysis, UV rays, ozone and microorganisms
• also available in long lengths
STANDARD
Water applications aren’t regulated by specific standards.
ZEC has anyway decided to present solutions tested according to SAE J517 and using proper safety factor
1:2.5, according to ISO 7551. Moreover, specific applicational needs required us to perform particular tests,
e.g. abrasion test (ISO 6945:2001), volumetric expansion test and flexibility test.
APPLICATIONS
Water handling hose range has been developed for multiple Industrial sectors, including the following
applications:
• Sewer jetting applications on road network (JC5/JC7/JC8) and secondary or domestic ducts (JCL)
• High pressure washer systems for industrial or car applications (MT1E and JC5)
• Hydro Sandblasting up to 1280 bar (Jet Power)
• Greenhouse cleaning (Jet Wash)
• Misting systems for agricultural and water cooling applications (PA12HL, AT7-PE)
• Potable water handling, even at high temperatures (PTFE, FEP).
