Possible cause<br />

– Switch handle not pressed<br />

down.<br />

– No fuel mixture.<br />

– Fuel tap closed.<br />

– Spark plug connector loose.<br />

– Spark plug defective or dirty or<br />

electrode burnt out.<br />

– Engine getting too much fuel<br />

mixture (spark plug wet).<br />

– Air filter dirty.<br />

– Ignition defective.<br />

– Incorrect fuel mixture ratio.<br />

– Air filter dirty.<br />

– Spark plug foul.<br />

– Petrol tank dirty.<br />

– Carburettor blocked.<br />

– Cooling air paths blocked.<br />

Remedy<br />

– Press switch handle to upper<br />

part of handlebar.<br />

– Re-fuel.<br />

– Open the fuel tap (max. 2 turns).<br />

– Press on spark plug connector.<br />

– Replace or clean spark plug,<br />

set electrode distance to<br />

0.5 mm and replace spark plug<br />

is necessary.<br />

– Have it checked by an<br />

authorised dealership<br />

– Clean or replace air filter insert.<br />

– Have it checked by an<br />

authorised dealership<br />

– Mixture ratio is 50:1; see<br />
