Os investimentos diretos em transformação digital vão acelerar para um crescimento anual médio de 16,5%, no período de 2022 a 2025. Como consequência deste crescimento, em Portugal a transformação digital vai representar 50% de todo o investimento nacional em TIC até o final de 2025. Em Portugal, mais de 50% das empresas de média e grande dimensão inquiridas pela IDC Portugal dizem que irão implementar modelos de trabalhos híbridos. Para além do crescimento do comércio digital, a IDC prevê que 35% das grandes organizações europeias irão dispor de equipas de inovação para desenvolver experiências integradas entre o físico e o digital, de forma a criar diferenciação na experiência do cliente. RECURSOS Tendo em conta apenas as profissões TIC atualmente existentes, a IDC prevê que até 2025, 90% das organizações terão falta de recursos TIC, mais concretamente, deverão faltar mais de 1,15 milhões de profissionais na Europa Ocidental. Em Portugal, prevemos que deverão faltar mais de 10 mil profissionais até 2025. INOVAÇÃO DIGITAL A IDC prevê que até 2023, um quarto das empresas do G2000 deverão adquirir pelo menos uma startup focada em software de inteligência artificial de forma a poder obter competências e propriedade intelectual ao nível da Inteligência Artificial. No recente estudo da IDC “Startup & Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Report, Portugal 2021”, a IDC quantificou mais de 2000 startups em Portugal, mais de 13% quando comparado com a média europeia. Para além dos 4 novos unicórnios em 2021, o investimento em startups e scaleups com DNA nacional cresceu mais de 100% e ultrapassou os mil milhões de euros. Notar que os 7 Unicórnios com DNA nacional já valem mais do que 1/3 do PIB português. 5G A IDC prevê que as ligações 5G na Europa cresçam mais de 8x de 2021 a 2025, chegando a 600 milhões. A IDC acredita também que a monetização do 5G dependerá da entrega de casos de uso inovadores em tempo real e do uso intensivo de dados em ecossistemas hiperconectados. Em Portugal, o 5G será um dos principais impulsionadores dos projetos de IoT, mercado que irá ultrapassar mil milhões de euros em 2025. SUSTENTABILIDADE A IDC prevê que em 2023, 60% das organizações europeias priorizarão investimentos digitais para metas relacionadas à sustentabilidade, o que irá gerar mais de 50 mil milhões de investimento. SECURITY By 2024, IDC predicts that 60% of Europe’s leading companies will increase their annual spending on cyber resilience by 20% to protect their digital assets from cyber attacks - which will generate an additional €5.9 billion investment in security by 2024. In Portugal, IDC foresees that investments in Cybersecurity will exceed 200 million Euros in 2022 in technology alone. HUMAN RESOURCES Taking into account only the currently existing ICT professions, IDC predicts that by 2025, 90% of organizations will be short of ICT resources, more specifically, more than 1.15 million professionals will be missing in Western Europe. In Portugal, we predict that there will be a shortage of more than 10,000 professionals by 2025. DIGITAL INNOVATION IDC predicts that by 2023, a quarter of G2000 companies should acquire at least one startup focused on artificial intelligence software in order to obtain Artificial Intelligence skills and intellectual property.
