Located on the northern New South Wales coastline between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast, this sunny sweep of spectacular surf beach has so far escaped the attentions of cosmopolites looking for an escape. But the arrival of Halcyon House, a reimagined 1960s surfer hotel, is about to change all that.
