ADVERTORIAL News A Constellation of TV Stars For Orion, the sky is the limit with strong backing from TongFang group This spring, Orion delivered its first 4K models in Europe. With 42 and 48-inch sets the TV manufacturer thus entered the Ultra HD market. The devices are equipped with DVB-T / -C / -S / S2 tuner, support USB playback and are equipped for hotel cloning. Bruno Seibert, President of Tongfang Global Germany GmbH and head of the Orion brand tells us a little more about how Orion is evolving in 2015. Orion brand in Germany was established more than 40 year ago and since then has retained a strong position in the consumer market. Orion was founder of the TV/VCR combination and later on continued with the TV/DVD Combination. Until today we have a full range of LED TV and LED TV/DVD combination starting from 22”up to 55” from HD as well as FHD and UHD. How are sales progressing, and what are your “product sweet spots”? Since Tongfang Global Germany took over the Orion brand for Germany sales on these products are ramping up as we are offering modern and high quality products for reasonable prices in the market. How is distribution evolving? What are your ambitions? Distribution covers all fields and channels selling consumer electronic products. Our target is to make it into the Top Five suppliers in Germany within the next years. Furthermore, we plan to introduce our SEIKI brand with new feature-packed products into the German market. What are the key strengths of your products? We are up to speed with the latest technology in TV and offer the customer a high quality product for a reasonable price as well as a perfect sales and service support for our dealers as well as for the end consumer. How does being part of the TongFang group help you? As part of the TongFang Group we are supported with excellent factory facilities, high quality engineering knowledge and a worldwide network. Please tell us about your new products at IFA 2015. This year, we are introducing a new range of LED TVs with a new built in sound system. We will include Smart TV function in even small size TVs and we are expanding our TV/DVD Combo TVs up to 42”with built-in Blu-ray Disc player. Further to this, we are introducing a wide range of SEIKI UHD monitors for end consumers as well as for professional use.
