NetJets EU Summer 2023

NOTES FROM NETJETS

NOTES FROM NETJETS Latest happenings, onboard updates, companywide news and profiles ART AND STYLE FREDERICK DUCHESNE (2) BLUE HEAVEN Conor Mccreedy, below, and his works in the NetJets Lounge at Art Basel In June, for the 22nd year, NetJets was an associate partner of Art Basel in the fair’s original Swiss home. As well as offering Owners First Choice and Preview access to the show that features over 200 leading galleries and more than 4,000 artists from five continents, they were also invited into the NetJets Lounge, which once again was adorned with work curated by a chosen artist. This year’s choice was South African-born, Swiss-based British artist Conor Mccreedy. The works on show in the lounge are from Mccreedy’s Alter-Ego Wildlife series, which brings together his love of conservation with his focus on monochromatic creations in blue. Believing the colour to be a powerful force in storytelling, conveying such a contrasting array of emotions, Mccreedy uses blue as a tool to explore the complex relationship between one’s self and wild animals. 26 NetJets
