Looking Forward First Woman-Focused University System Texas Woman’s is now a system The Texas Legislature in summer 2021 established Texas Woman’s as the state’s seventh public university system, making the three-campus system the nation’s largest focused on women. As the university transitions to a higher profile system, it is poised to accelerate programming, community and corporate partnerships, philanthropy, research and innovation — and to escalate its impact in preparing a vibrant workforce for Texas. “If you’re not at the table you’re probably on the menu” DC meeting I traveled to our nation’s capital to connect with alumni, supporters, lawmakers and national publication editors to report on our successes.
Three Locations Denton Our main campus offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the arts, sciences, business, health and education. Dallas Located in the Southwest Medical Center, this campus serves students primarily interested in health and business programs, and is home to our Stroke Center. Houston Nestled in the heart of Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest, this center has a strong focus on health-related programming. 15
