Forces Acting Together Distinctions - Texas Woman’s is building Learn to Thrive TWU’s five-year strategic plan We are in the final year of a five-year plan to enhance the university, progressing on several fronts and setting the stage for Texas Woman’s to have an even greater impact on the state and beyond. In all, we employed 18 initiatives to help achieve our objectives, all of which are now woven into the fabric of the university. Women & Leadership At Texas Woman’s, thousands have found their voice and discovered the courage to lead. The university contributes knowledge and best practices that encourage women—and men—to lead, thrive and prosper in professional, organizational and community settings for the advancement of humanity. Health We are committed to the health of others, and the university is a leader in advancing the wellbeing of the human body and mind. Texas Woman’s brings healthcare leadership and dedicated practice to emerging economies and provides opportunities for students to experience other cultures and healthcare systems.

We support veteran students and celebrate the achievements of women in the military. Texas Woman’s serves those who served our country. Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Founded as a woman’s college, Texas Woman’s evolved to serve other populations. The university today is consistently ranked as one of the most diverse universities in the U.S. Our divergent backgrounds offer rich perspectives that help students build confidence and leverage experiences that challenge the status quo. 3
