Door de nauwe samenwerking met hetOlym-pische team van het Noordduitse Wedstriijdzeilverbond inHamburg en Kiel in het Olympisch Vitarium Schielksee, zijn wij eringeslaagd, een voor de moderne wedstrijdzeilsport vereiste schootverder te ontwik-kelen. De eis was om een kinkvrije spischoot meteen uitstekende slijt-vastheid te ontwikkelen, die speciaal inratelblokken haar kracht be-wijst, maar ook goed in de hand aanvoelt.De oplossing: Door de spe-ciale mix van Dyneema en polyester stapelvezels blijft het oppervlak, zelfs in zout water en onder alleomstandigheden zijn goede grip behou-den. Zelfs onder de zwaarsteomstandigheden en bij het uitdunnen van het polyesterdeel bij rafelen,blijft het onberispelijke gebruik en de rem-werking in de ratelblokkengewaarborgd. De goede dynamische eigen-schappen resulteren in eenzeer aangename geleiding door de hand.Tornado spinnaker sheet. By working closely with the Olympic team ofthe Norddeutscher Regatta Association in Hamburg and the OlympicVitarium in Kiel Schielksee, we have succeeded to develop a sheet withall the features required in today’s regatta sport. The requirement was todevelop a nonkinking spisheet finished with excellent abrasionresistance which, especially in ratchet blocks, shows her strength,however, pleasantly situated in the hand. The solution: With the specialmix of dyneema and polyester staple fiber the surface remains even insalt water grippy under all circumstances. Die Lösung: Durch die spezielle Mischungvon Dyneema und Polyesterstapelfaser bleibt die Oberfläche selbst imSalzwassereinsatz unter allen Umständen griffig. Auch unter härtestemEinsatz und leichtern ausfasern der Polyesteranteile bleibt das tadelloseHandling und die Bremswirkung in den Ratschenblöcken erhalten.
