ARTICLE 1. ORGANIZATION
The IWT JONG MAAR MOEDIG is organized by “Jong maar Moedig” vzw
under the regulations of the International Cycling Union. It is to be held the
27th of June 2012.

ARTICLE 2. TYPE OF EVENT
The event is open to athletes of the MEN ELITE categories. The event is
entered on the UCI Europe Tour calendar and is registered as a class 2 event.
In conformity with the UCI rules, points are awarded as follows for the UCI
ranking: 40 - 30 - 16 - 12 - 10 - 8 - 6 - 3.
ARTICLE 3. PARTICIPATION
As per article 2.1.005 of the UCI regulations, the event is open to the following
teams: Continental team, National teams, Regional teams or Club Teams.
As per article 2.2.003 of the UCI regulations, teams must be formed of
minimum 4 and maximum 6 riders.
ARTICLE 4. RACE HEADQUARTERS
At the start, the race headquarters shall be open at wednesday 27th of June
2012 at 9 am and located at the following address: Café “Het Vijfde Wiel” Zaal
‘t Schuurke – Kerkstraat 1 – 1755 OETINGEN.
Team representatives are requested to confirm their starters and collect
their race numbers at the race headquarters from 9.30 AM to 10.45 AM on
the 27/06/2012.
The team managers' meeting, organized in accordance with article 1.2.087
of the UCI regulations, in the presence of the Members of the Commissaires’
Panel, is scheduled for 11.00 AM at “Wanneken- Kerkplein - Oetingen.
ARTICLE 5. RADIO-TOUR
Race information will be broadcast on the following frequency: 164,510
Mhz.
ARTICLE 6. NEUTRAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT
The technical support service is handled by All-Sales and Van Steenkiste
Serge.
The neutral support is taken care of by means of: 3 cars + 1 motorcycle.
ARTICLE 7. FINISHING TIME LIMITS
Any rider finishing in a time exceeding that of the winner by more than 5%
shall not be placed. The time limit may, in exceptional circumstances, be
increased by the Commissaires' Panel in agreement with the organizer.
ARTICLE 8. CLASSIFICATIONS
The following classification(s) will be issued:
GRAND PRIX MONTAGNE (GPM):
The first rider to cross the top of the mountain will be attributed 5 points,
the second one 3 and the third one 1 point. When the mountain is classified
as a “super grand prix montagne (SUPER GPM)”; these points will be
doubled: 10 – 6 – 2 points.
MOUNTAIN PRICE (GPM): 5 - 3 - 1 ptn.
Km 22,5 de 'HUTSELENBERG" te Gooik.
Km 46,0 de "CONGOBERG te Vollezele.
Km 131 de "BERGSTRAAT" te Oetingen.
Km 146 de "BERGSTRAAT" te Oetingen.
SUPER MOUNTAIN PRICE (SUPER GPM): 10 - 6 - 2 ptn.
Km 58 de "BOSBERG" te Galmaarden.
Km 73 de "MUUR VAN GERAARDSBERGEN".
Km 77 de "VOSKENSSTRAAT".
The rider who gathered the highest number of points, will be the winner of
the GPM and the price related to it (€ 125 - € 75 - € 50), as well as the
victory flowers.
When there are several riders with the same number of points, the rider
with the highest number of first place at the top, yet the highest number of
second places at the top and yet the highest number of third places at the
top, will be the winner.
RUSHES
There are six rushes during the race, of which 6 x € 75 for the first rider
crossing the line.

TOTAAL: € 450
To be able to claim the prize of a certain rush, the rider must ride at least the
first 108 km of the race. Otherwise the prize stays property of the organisation.

A grand total of € 6710 will be awarded in prize money at the event.
All the prizes (individual prizes, rushes and mountain prize) will be paid by
the KBWB/RLVB by means of a bank transfer to the bank account of the
team.
ARTICLE 10. COMPENSATION PAYMENTS
The compensations will be paid by the organization « Jong Maar Moedig »
vzw. In order to obtain the compensations the team representative must
sign the control sheet of the organization “Jong Maar Moedig” vzw when he
enters the racers. The compensations will then be transferred to the bank
account of the team.
ARTICLE 11. ANTIDOPING
The UCI antidoping regulations are entirely applicable to the event.
Moreover, and in conformity with the law of Flanders, the Flemish antidoping
legislation is applicable in addition to the UCI antidoping regulations.
The antidoping tests will take place at Community school “De Oester” -
Kerkplein - Oetingen.
ARTICLE 12. AWARDS CEREMONY
In accordance with article 1.2.112 of the UCI rules, the following riders must
attend the official awards ceremony:
��The first three of the stage.
��The leader of the following secondary classification:
Grand Prix Montagne.
The riders will present themselves at the podium in a time limit of
maximum 10 minutes after crossing the finish line.
ARTICLE 13. DRESSING ROOMS
Every team will be accommodated in separate rooms in private houses and
will take care of these rooms and leave them in perfect conditions. Penalties
may be imposed after deliberation of the College of Commissaires and the
organization.
ARTICLE 14. PENALTIES
The UCI penalty scale is the only one applicable.
