ARTICLE 1. ORGANIZATION<br />
The <strong>IWT</strong> JONG MAAR MOEDIG is organized by “Jong maar Moedig” vzw<br />
under the regulations of the International Cycling Union. It is to be held the<br />
27th of June 2012.<br />

ARTICLE 2. TYPE OF EVENT<br />
The event is open to athletes of the MEN ELITE categories. The event is<br />
entered on the UCI Europe Tour calendar and is registered as a class 2 event.<br />
In conformity with the UCI rules, points are awarded as follows for the UCI<br />
ranking: 40 - 30 - 16 - 12 - 10 - 8 - 6 - 3.<br />
ARTICLE 3. PARTICIPATION<br />
As per article 2.1.005 of the UCI regulations, the event is open to the following<br />
teams: Continental team, National teams, Regional teams or Club Teams.<br />
As per article 2.2.003 of the UCI regulations, teams must be formed of<br />
minimum 4 and maximum 6 riders.<br />
ARTICLE 4. RACE HEADQUARTERS<br />
At the start, the race headquarters shall be open at wednesday 27th of June<br />
2012 at 9 am and located at the following address: Café “Het Vijfde Wiel” Zaal<br />
‘t Schuurke – Kerkstraat 1 – 1755 OETINGEN.<br />
Team representatives are requested to confirm their starters and collect<br />
their race numbers at the race headquarters from 9.30 AM to 10.45 AM on<br />
the 27/06/2012.<br />
The team managers' meeting, organized in accordance with article 1.2.087<br />
of the UCI regulations, in the presence of the Members of the Commissaires’<br />
Panel, is scheduled for 11.00 AM at “Wanneken- Kerkplein - <strong>Oetingen</strong>.<br />
ARTICLE 5. RADIO-TOUR<br />
Race information will be broadcast on the following frequency: 164,510<br />
Mhz.<br />
ARTICLE 6. NEUTRAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT<br />
The technical support service is handled by All-Sales and Van Steenkiste<br />
Serge.<br />
The neutral support is taken care of by means of: 3 cars + 1 motorcycle.<br />
ARTICLE 7. FINISHING TIME LIMITS<br />
Any rider finishing in a time exceeding that of the winner by more than 5%<br />
shall not be placed. The time limit may, in exceptional circumstances, be<br />
increased by the Commissaires' Panel in agreement with the organizer.<br />
ARTICLE 8. CLASSIFICATIONS<br />
The following classification(s) will be issued:<br />
GRAND PRIX MONTAGNE (GPM):<br />
The first rider to cross the top of the mountain will be attributed 5 points,<br />
the second one 3 and the third one 1 point. When the mountain is classified<br />
as a “super grand prix montagne (SUPER GPM)”; these points will be<br />
doubled: 10 – 6 – 2 points.<br />
MOUNTAIN PRICE (GPM): 5 - 3 - 1 ptn.<br />

Km 131 de "BERGSTRAAT" te <strong>Oetingen</strong>.<br />

SUPER MOUNTAIN PRICE (SUPER GPM): 10 - 6 - 2 ptn.<br />
Km 58 de "BOSBERG" te Galmaarden.<br />
Km 73 de "MUUR VAN GERAARDSBERGEN".<br />
Km 77 de "VOSKENSSTRAAT".<br />
The rider who gathered the highest number of points, will be the winner of<br />
the GPM and the price related to it (€ 125 - € 75 - € 50), as well as the<br />
victory flowers.<br />
When there are several riders with the same number of points, the rider<br />
with the highest number of first place at the top, yet the highest number of<br />
second places at the top and yet the highest number of third places at the<br />
top, will be the winner.<br />
RUSHES<br />
There are six rushes during the race, of which 6 x € 75 for the first rider<br />
crossing the line.<br />

To be able to claim the prize of a certain rush, the rider must ride at least the<br />
first 108 km of the race. Otherwise the prize stays property of the organisation.<br />

A grand total of € 6710 will be awarded in prize money at the event.<br />
All the prizes (individual prizes, rushes and mountain prize) will be paid by<br />
the KBWB/RLVB by means of a bank transfer to the bank account of the<br />
team.<br />
ARTICLE 10. COMPENSATION PAYMENTS<br />
The compensations will be paid by the organization « Jong Maar Moedig »<br />
vzw. In order to obtain the compensations the team representative must<br />
sign the control sheet of the organization “Jong Maar Moedig” vzw when he<br />
enters the racers. The compensations will then be transferred to the bank<br />
account of the team.<br />
ARTICLE 11. ANTIDOPING<br />
The UCI antidoping regulations are entirely applicable to the event.<br />
Moreover, and in conformity with the law of Flanders, the Flemish antidoping<br />
legislation is applicable in addition to the UCI antidoping regulations.<br />
The antidoping tests will take place at Community school “De Oester” -<br />
Kerkplein - <strong>Oetingen</strong>.<br />
ARTICLE 12. AWARDS CEREMONY<br />
In accordance with article 1.2.112 of the UCI rules, the following riders must<br />
attend the official awards ceremony:<br />
��The first three of the stage.<br />
��The leader of the following secondary classification:<br />
Grand Prix Montagne.<br />
The riders will present themselves at the podium in a time limit of<br />
maximum 10 minutes after crossing the finish line.<br />
ARTICLE 13. DRESSING ROOMS<br />
Every team will be accommodated in separate rooms in private houses and<br />
will take care of these rooms and leave them in perfect conditions. Penalties<br />
may be imposed after deliberation of the College of Commissaires and the<br />
organization.<br />

The UCI penalty scale is the only one applicable.<br />
