be 150 years old in 2010. Compared to most towns we
are still just teenagers, with our whole lives ahead of us!
This theme will dominate our jubilee. Instead of only
looking back, we have also decided to look into the future.
A whole 150 years into the future. With enthusiasm and
optimism. This is in line with our vision, which runs:
“Sandnes – a centre for the future.”
We have chosen a bold mathematical equation – 2010 +
150. The answer is 2160. And the name of our jubilee is?
Sandnes2160, of course. We look forward to it!
