OBH Nordica Oil/vinegar spray
Before use
Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save it for future use.
Use
• Start by removing the pump unit for cleaning.
• Grab the pump unit at the dosage scale, turn anti-clockwise and lift it up.
• Clean all parts according to the instructions under “Cleaning and
maintenance”.
• Hook the two bottles together and fill the bottle marked “OIL” with oil and
the bottle marked “VINEGAR” with vinegar, use the enclosed funnel if
needed. The bottles holds 150 ml each. Note that the oil and vinegar
must not contain spices since it might block the spray function.
• Put the pump unit back. Be sure that the tube with white pump filter
at the end of the tube, is placed into the bottle with oil and the tube
with black pump filter is placed into the bottle with vinegar. Turn the
pump unit clock-wise to lock it.
• Adjust your dosage (see below) and pump up the oil/vinegar by pressing
repeatedly on the trigger.
• How finely the oil/vinegar spreads depends on how fast you press the
trigger. If you want a very finely spread oil/vinegar you press the trigger
fast. If you however want the oil/vinegar more like a jet you press the
trigger more slowly/softly.
Dosage
If you like the same amount of oil as vinegar you turn the pump head so
that the arrow marks 50/50 on the dosage scale. If you want oil only, you
turn the pump head so that the arrow marks 100% on the oil bottle and if
you want only vinegar you turn the arrow to 100% on the vinegar bottle. In
between the two 100% settings you can select optional amount of oil and
vinegar by turning the pump head.
Note that you will achieve best result using a thin room tempered oil. If
you use a thicker and/or cold oil it might result in a single jet rather than
a spray mist.
Tips
• Spray oil into the frying pan or baking form before you start frying or
baking to get low fat cooking.
