Ovos<br />

A postura é realiza<strong>da</strong> na face superior <strong>da</strong>s folhas sen<strong>do</strong> o<br />
ovo <strong>do</strong> man<strong>da</strong>rová de forma oval e lisa, medin<strong>do</strong><br />
aproxima<strong>da</strong>mente 1,5 milímetro de diâmetro, de cor verde<br />
e brilhante (Fig. 2a), passan<strong>do</strong> a amarela com grande<br />
número de pontuações avermelha<strong>da</strong>s após 24 horas. O<br />
perío<strong>do</strong> médio de incubação <strong>do</strong> ovo varia de <strong>do</strong>is a seis<br />
dias. Quan<strong>do</strong> os ovos encontra<strong>do</strong>s tiverem coloração<br />
escura, tenden<strong>do</strong> para o preto, estarão parasita<strong>do</strong>s (Fig.<br />

A lagarta recém-eclodi<strong>da</strong> mede, aproxima<strong>da</strong>mente, cinco<br />
milímetros de comprimento, com coloração varia<strong>da</strong> (verde,<br />
