"European Classroom" - "Relics of the Second World War in your own region" and "Arts, Design and Math"
"Mihai Viteazul" School from Pucioasa (Romania) was a hospitable host for two subprojects of the "European Classroom" Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership between schools Project, founded by the European Comission. Our guests were 11 students and 4 teachers from „Jac P. Thijsse College”, Castricum (Netherlands) and „I.E.S. Francisco Figueras Pacheco”, Alicante (Spain). The key-word was HOSPITALITY and our nice guests learned to say MULTUMESC (THANK YOU)!

PROIECT “EUROPEAN CLASSROOM”<br />
Următoarea activitate a constat în prezentarea unor fotografii <strong>in</strong>edite d<strong>in</strong> timpul istoric evocat:<br />
mărturii ale implicării românilor şi ol<strong>and</strong>ezilor pe Frontul de Vest şi pe Frontul de Est în Europa, dar şi pe<br />
fronturile d<strong>in</strong> Asia Mică. În discuţiile ulterioare, dirijate de d-na pr<strong>of</strong>esoară Georgiana V<strong>in</strong>tilă şi de colegul<br />
ol<strong>and</strong>ez, Theo van Heese, s-a pus accentul pe consec<strong>in</strong>ţele acestui război, care au <strong>in</strong>fluenţat evoluţia<br />
viitoare a celor două ţări, Ol<strong>and</strong>a şi România.<br />
Apoi, elevii au lucrat în grupe mixte: au primit fotografii <strong>in</strong>edite d<strong>in</strong> timpul luptelor, de pe front, şi au<br />
fost <strong>in</strong>vitaţi să stabilească ord<strong>in</strong>ea cronologică a acestora şi să realizeze un colaj.<br />
În acest timp, elevii şi pr<strong>of</strong>esorii implicaţi în subproiectul <strong>Arts</strong>, <strong>Design</strong> <strong>and</strong> Math au asistat la o lecţie<br />
demonstrativă susţ<strong>in</strong>ută de domnul pr<strong>of</strong>esor Sor<strong>in</strong> Ion, referitoare la descoperirea Şirului lui Fibonacci în<br />
structuri naturale. Lecţia a purtat moto-ul Matematica este pretut<strong>in</strong>deni şi a <strong>in</strong>clus şi un scurt istoric al<br />
apariţiei Şirului lui Fibonacci.<br />
