even for the same chemical or pH component.<br />

• Generally speaking, electrochemical process discussed in sections<br />

16-18 requires only negligible amount of salt (NaCl), or Potassium<br />

hydroxide(KOH) etc, to be added in water to electrolyze, or simply<br />

regular chlorinated tab water suffices(Membrane can work as electrolyte<br />

to electrolyze pure water also). Amount of electrolyte is low enough to<br />

often qualify as fresh water with salt content
