SUMMARY
On the territory of 27 km² in 4 settlements 2752 inhabitants live. The first written
document in this area date from 1209, when under the name “Teplitz Bey Stubitcza”, Stubica
was mentioned. Probably the spa was used in the antique times. The first modern development
of Stubičke Toplice occurred in the 18 and 19th century. In 20th century Stubičke Toplice
becomes the popular thermal spa in the whole Europe. Recently Stubičke Toplice is the beloved
destination for recreation and excursion of people of Zagreb. The perspective of the place is the
further development and modernisation of recreation, medical and congress tourism, especially
through Hotel Turist enterprise “M. Gubec” and the Special Hospital Stubičke Toplice.
ZUSAMMENFASUNG
Auf einer Fläche von 27 km 2 leben 2752 Einwohner in 4 Siedlungen. Erste geschriebene
Daten aus diesem Gebiet datieren aus dem einstigen 1209 Jahr, wo die »Tepliz Bey Stubicza«
erwähnt werden. Die Thermal Quelle ist wahrscheinlich noch von der antiken und römischen
Zeit in Benutzung. Die erste Entwicklung erlebt das Heilbad im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert,
und am Anfangs des 20. Jahrhunderts in ganz Europa als ein mondenes Heilbad bekannt zu
werden.
Heute ist das Heilbad ein beliebter Ausflugsort der Zagreber. Als eine Touristengemeinde
bestreiten Stubičke Toplice ihre Entwicklung aus dem Rekreations-, Heil, sowie
Kongresstourismus, und das vorwiegend über HTP »Matija Gubec« und Spezialklinik
Stubičke Toplice.
