The piece is a interplay of sections of activity and sections of sustained<br />
tranquillity. The musical material similarly alternates between harmonic<br />
stability and harmonic expansion.<br />
«<strong>Glimpsing</strong> <strong>Through</strong> <strong>Blue</strong>» was commissioned by the Polish flutist Ewa<br />
Murawska for a project involving norwegian and polish composers and<br />
musicaians in <strong>2013</strong>. It was recorded by the polish label Acte Préalable<br />
(AP0294).
