Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants (ICFA)
The Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants (ICFA) is
a professional body for those committed to the
development of the multidisciplinary profession of
forensic accounting. We aim to promote and develop the
profession of forensic accountancy to the public and to
those people involved in providing forensic advice and
guidance to their clients.
The Institute represents accounting professionals who work in the forensic arena. Our focus
has always been on professional values and high ethical standards, plus the opportunity for
study and
career advancement in the field of forensic accounting.
The ICFA is a not-for-profit professional body for accounting professionals and we have has a
growing global presence with members in over 18 countries. Our members are employed in all
sectors of the economy and make a significant contribution to the efficiency of any business.
The Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants is a not-for-profit professional body chartered
under Letters of Patent granted by the Federal Government of Canada. The Institute is also
registered under the Laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
The CPFA designation is registered with the National Certification Commission, USA. The key
