IV. Vaccination against potential cancer –<br />
causing viruses<br />
The PNSCPC stresses the following:<br />
a. Continuing providing Hepatitis B vaccine, as part of the<br />
<strong>National</strong> Expanded program of Immunization, in addition<br />
to vaccinating the higher risk categories ensuring on the<br />
commitment with Public Health safety measures in this<br />
regard.<br />
b. Implementing the international WHO recommendations<br />
in this regard.<br />
V. Fighting Environmental Carcinogen<br />
sources<br />
The PNSCPC aspires to lower cancer burdens by urging<br />
the following:<br />
1. Reductions in exposure to numerous carcinogens,<br />
including asbestos, arsenic, dioxins and aflatoxins.<br />
2. assuring arsenic drinking water for all people<br />
3. Reducing the use of coal and wood in domestic heating<br />
and cooking; encouraging the use of clean fuel sources,<br />
instead.<br />
4. Strengthening food safety systems; imposing severe<br />
Food monitoring procedures focusing on fighting food<br />
contamination, and stressing the necessity for legislations<br />
in this regard.<br />
5. separating Industrial zones from residential areas<br />
6. passing laws to control the causes leading to air pollution<br />
7. Avoiding direct exposure to sun rays<br />
