من أهم معالم المدينة المنورة
Almasjid Alnabawi:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH)
said, “Offering prayer in my mosque
(in madinah) is better than one
thousand prayers elsewhere”.
Quba Mosque: The prophet (PBUH)
prayed there when he first came to
madina. He also helped in building it
and said about it:” One prayer in the
Quba’ Mosque is like ‘Umrah.”

Alqiblatain Mosque:
Alqiblatain means the two Qiblas.
The mosque was named after
the Prophet’s companions prayed
towards two Qiblas in one prayer.
The Qibla was initially towards
Bait Almaqdis in Palestine. When
the ayah revealed turning towards
Makkah, the Prophet PBUH Sent
one of his companions to inform
Muslims around Madinah and as
they were praying they turned to
the new Qibla towards Alkaaba in
Makkah Almukarrama.
Al-Baqi:
Madina’s cemetery. Around 10,000
of the Prophet’s companions are
buried there. The Prophet PBUH
used to go to the Baqi’ at the last
part of night and say “May you
be safe, O abode of the believing
people. What you have been
promised has come to you. You are
tarried till tomorrow and certainly we
shall follow you if Allah wills. O Allah,
forgive the inmates of the Baqi’ Al-
Gharqad”. Al Gharqad is the name
of thorny Boxthorn trees which were
abundant in Baqi and it was named
after them.
Uhud Mountain:
Uhud mountain is 6000 meter
long, stretching from east to west.
It is located in the North of Madina.
When the Prophet PBUH returned
from the battle of Tabuk and looked
upon Madinah he said ”This is Taba
(i.e.Madina) and this is Uhud a
mountain that loves us and is
Loved by us.”
King Fahd Central Park:
is located south of Madina in the
Quba area which is famous for its
Abundance of underground
water and abundance of palm
trees. The garden contains areas
for horseback riding, children’s
playgrounds, and sports courts for
adults.
Dar Al-Madinah Museum:
The first Museum specialized in the
historical and cultural urbanization
and architecture of the city of
Madina. It showcases the heritage
of the Islamic civilization since the
Prophet PBUH came to Madina
until the present time, taking visitors
through stories and unique models
to get to know Madina closely
throughout its history.
المسجد النبوي الشريف:‏
قال فيه النبي عليه الصالة والسالم:‏
‏»صالة في مسجدي هذا خير من ألف
صالة فيما سواه إال المسجد الحرام«‏ رواه
البخاري ومسلم
مسجد قباء:‏
صلى فيه الحبيب عليه الصالة والسالم
أول مقدمه للمدينة،‏ كما ساعد عليه
الصالة والسالم في بنائه وقال فيه:‏
‏»الصالة في مسجد قباء كعمرة«‏ رواه
الترمذي )١٣٠،٣٢٥(
مسجد القبلتين:‏
سمي بذلك ألن الصحابة صلوا فيه صالة
واحدة إلى قبلتين،‏ ألن القبلة كانت إلى
بيت المقدس وعندما نزلت آية تحويل
القبلة إلى مكة،‏ أرسل الرسول عليه
الصالة والسالم أحد الصحابة ليبلغ
المسلمين في أطراف المدينة و جاء
الصحابي والناس يصلون فأخبرهم الخبر
فتحولوا وهم في صالتهم إلى القبلة
الجديدة.‏
البقيع:‏
مقبرة أهل المدينة دفن فيها مايقارب
١٠,٠٠٠ صحابي وصحابية،‏ وكان عليه
الصالة والسالم يخرج من آخر الليل إلى
البقيع فيقول،‏ : ‏»السالم عليكم دار قوم
مؤمنين،‏ وأتاكم ماتوعدون،‏ غداً‏ مؤجلون،‏
وإنا إن شاء اهلل بكم الحقون،‏ اللهم اغفر
ألهل بقيع الغرقد«‏ رواه مسلم )٢٢٩٩(
وسمي بالغرقد ألنه موضع فيه أصول
الشجر من ضروب شتى.‏
جبل أحد:‏
طوله ٦٠٠٠ متر من الشرق إلى الغرب،‏
ويطل على المدينة من الجهة الشمالية،‏
ارتبط بحب رسول اهلل عليه الصالة
والسالم حيث قال فيه بعد عودته من
غزوة تبوك،‏ لما أشرف على المدينة
قال:‏ ‏»هذه طابة،‏ وهذا أحد،‏ جبل يحبنا
ونحبه«‏ رواه البخاري ومسلم.‏
حديقة الملك فهد المركزية:‏
تقع جنوب المدينة بمنطقة قباء التي
تشتهر بوفرة المياه الجوفية وبكثافة
مزارع النخيل بها وتحتوي على منطقة
لركوب الخيل،‏ منطقة ألعاب األطفال،‏
والمالعب للكبار.‏
متحف دار المدينة:‏
أول متحف متخصص للتاريخ والتراث
الحضاري والعمراني للمدينة المنورة.‏
ويكشف معالم إرثها وحضارتها
اإلسالمية وعبق تاريخها المجيد،‏ منذ
أن طلع البدر علينا من ثنيات الوداع،‏
وحتى عهدنا الحالي ليأخذ مرتاديه عبر
قصصه ومجسماته ومقتنياته الفريدة إلى
رحلة النور للتعرف عن قرب على قصة
المدينة المنورة عبر التاريخ.‏
