NB: As the hose after some time in the box can get some folds, it is recomended to soften it before mounting on
the pump. This can be done by placing the hose on a hot radiator, in hot water for a few minutes or pour hot water
through the hose.
For a proper use in compliance with norms please read this manual carefully, before the pump is connected.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The pump AQ 2000 is developed for use in ponds and fountains.It has been especially designed for the use in water
(up to 35º C.) and only for this purpose. Any other use not in compliance with the safety norms is prohibited. Please
consult a qualified electrician if you have any doubts about wiring this product to the main supply.
Line-cords cannot be replaced or repaired. Should the cords become damaged, the unit must be discarded.
This unit must not be used in swimming pools or bathrooms.
It is necessary to conform to the regulations of the local electricity authority, which will state that ”cable buried
under the ground must be protected by armoured conduit”.
Always disconnect all electrical appliances from the mains before placing your hands in the water.
Always unplug the pump by pulling out the plug from the socket. Never pull the power cable.
INSTALLATION OF THE PUMP
The enclosed neoprene gasket is mounted in one end of the hose, and the other end of the hose is then pushed down
through the stone (from top) until the gasket is correct placed in the top-hole of the stone and the hose is hidden.
The hose connection is mounted on the pump.
Please remember to empty the pond and take up the pump during wintertime.
WINTER STORAGE
Protect the pump against freezing. Late autumn remove the pump from the pond, clean it as stated under
Maintenance and place it in a bucket or other suitable container with water and keep this in a frost-proof room.
WARRANTY
With this product we offer you a guarantee of 36 months from the date of purchase on materials and manufacturing
faults.
This guarantee does not cover any mishandling, damage or technical modification to the unit. No replacement
will be given for units that have not been properly maintained. The guarentee will be honoured only if the unit is
returned in its whole and together with the receipt or proof of purchase. In case of returning under guarantee, please
return it accompanied by this certificate of guarantee and the proof of purchase to your supplier. We do reserve
the right to repair or replace the unit. The guarantee does not cover cases of damage that may result from misuse,
tampering and negligence or from not observing of the Safety Warnings. This guarantee does not cover parts
subjected to natural wearing and tear (i.e. rotors).
By any cutting of the cable as well as any unauthorized attempt to repair the pump the
guarantee will become void.
Disposal of your old appliance
1. When the crossed out wheeled bin symbol is attached to a product it
means the product is covered by the European Directive 2002/96/EC.
2. All electrical and electronic products should be disposed of separately
from the municipal waste stream via designated collection facilities appointed
by the government or the local authorities.
3. The correct disposal of your old appliance will help prevent potential
negative consequences for the environment and human health.
4. For more detailed information about disposal of your old appliance,
please contact your city office, waste disposal service or the shop where
you purchased the product.
ADJUSTING THE WATER OUTPUT
The water output can be adjusted on the screws in the divider.
MAINTENANCE
Regular cleaning of the strainer, the rotor/impeller and the pump chamber is recomended to remove any debris and
lime-scale, which could block the unit. The motor is fully encapsulated and self protected against overheating and
needs no particular care. If the pump fails to work, first chech the electrical supply, connections, cirquit breaker etc.
If these are correct the pump need to be cleaned.
CLEANING
Prior to any work on the unit, disconnect all electrical equipment from the mains.
Remove the filterhouse from the pump, turn the rotor cover anti-clockwise and remove it and then pull the rotor
from its location. Carefully rinse all components under running water cleaning with a non-metallic brush such as a
toothbrush. If necessary remove lime-scale by leaving the components immersed in vinegar or diluted acetic acid
(1:10) a few hours. Reassemble the unit so that all the components are placed in their original position.

LIEFERUMFANG
Pumpe mit 10 Meter Kabel und folgendes Zubehör:
Plastikschlauch, Neopren-Dichtungen und 3 x Regulierungshahn mit Schlauchstutzen.
Da der Schlauch nach einiger Zeit in der Verpackung Knicke bekommen kann, empfehlen wir den Schlauch vor
Montage an der Pumpe weich zu machen, z. B durch Lagerung in Nähe eines Heizkörpers, Einlegen in heißes
Wasser oder Durchspülen mit heißem Wasser.
Bitte lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung vor Installation der Pumpe genau.

SICHERHEIT
Vor Inbetriebnahme müssen Kabel und Stecker auf Beschädigungen untersucht werden.
Die örtliche Netzspannung und Stromart muss mit den Daten auf den Typenschildern der Pumpe übereinstimmen.
In Zweifelsfällen fragen Sie bitte Ihren Elektriker.
Vor Installation der Pumpe bzw. Einrichtung von Springbrunnen oder Wasserbecken muss die Stromzufuhr
unterbrochen und der Stecker herausgezogen werden.
ACHTUNG: Die Pumpe darf nie trocken laufen. Das Kabel kann nicht ausgetauscht werden. Bei Beschädigung
von Kabel oder Stecker muss die Pumpe ausgetauscht werden.
Die Pumpe ist nur für Wassertemperaturen bis 35º C geeignet und darf unter keinen Umständen in Schwimmbecken
oder Badezimmern verwendet werden. Die Steckdose für die Pumpe muss mindestens 3,5 m vom Wasserbecken
entfernt sein.
REINIGUNG
Vor jedem Eingriff muss der Strom unterbrochen und der Stecker herausgezogen werden.
Anschließend das Filtergehäuse öffnen und den Pumpendeckel entfernen. Deckel bitte gegen den Uhrzeigersinn
drehen. Danach den Rotor herausziehen und mit einer weichen Bürste alle Komponenten gründlich reinigen.
Kalkablagerungen können mit einem mehrstündigen Bad in verdünnter Essigsäure (1:10) entfernt werden. Der lose
Kalk wird abgebürstet und die Komponenten mit klarem Wasser abgespült.
AUFBEWAHRUNG IM WINTER
Die Pumpe darf nicht einfrieren. Bitte nehmen Sie die Pumpe im Herbst aus dem Becken und reinigen Sie sie wie
oben erwähnt. Anschließend bewahren sie die Pumpe in Wasser liegend in einem frostfreien Raum auf.
GARANTIE
Diese Pumpe ist mit einer 36 Monate langen Garantie gegen Produktions- oder Materialfehler versehen, geltend ab
Kaufdatum. Bei einer Reklamation wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler; bewahren Sie den Kassenbon sorgfältig auf.
In der Garantiezeit erfolgt eine Regulierung durch Reparatur oder Austausch. Die Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf
normalen Verschleiß oder Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung verursacht wurden. Der Rotor ist durch
die Garantie nicht gedeckt.
Bei Abkürzen des Kabels und bei nicht autorisiertem Eingriff entfällt jegliche
Garantie.
Entsorgung von Altgeräten
1. Wenn dieses Symbol eines durchgestrichenen Abfalleimers auf einem
Produkt angebracht ist, unterliegt dieses Produkt der europäischen Richtlinie
2002/96/EC.
2. Alle Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte müssen getrennt vom Hausmüll
über dafür staatlich vorgesehenen Stellen entsorgt werden.
3. Mit der ordnungsgemäßen Entsorgung des alten Geräts vermeiden Sie

JUSTIERUNG DER WASSERMENGE
Die Wassermenge kann mit den Hähnen auf dem Verteiler justiert werden.
WARTUNG
Wir empfehlen regelmäßige Reinigung von Filter, Rotor und Pumpenhaus. So werden Schmutz und
Kalkablagerungen entfernt, ehe die beweglichen Teile blockieren können.
Der Motor ist verkapselt und gegen Überhitzung gesichert.
Sollte die Pumpe nicht laufen, überprüfen Sie zunächst die elektrischen Verbindungen. Sind diese intakt, muss die
Pumpe dringend gereinigt werden.
